Daydream is a 1960's style chalet nestling beside Gwithian dunes, a conservation area of stunning coastline near Hayle in Cornwall, on a quiet family run site. A 20-minute stroll through grassy dunes, habitat to a wealth of plants and wildlife, leads to 3 miles of unspoilt sandy beaches ideal for swimming, surfing, relaxing. Or take the cliff-top paths to Godrevy Lighthouse for amazing coastal views. Daydream Chalet has a vintage feel and is laid out to comfortably accommodate 4 people. Daydream Chalet has: A living room with leather sofa, armchair, coffee table and flatscreen TV Patio doors leading from the living room on to the decked area Fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, vintage cupboard Dining area with table and chairs seating 4 Bedroom 1 with double bed Bedroom 2 with bunk beds Shower room with shower enclosure, wash basin and WC Decked area at the front of the chalet with patio table and chairs Heating and cooking are by electric. There is a coin meter in a cupboard by bedrooms which takes £1 coins. Please bring your own linen and towels. Parking for 1 car. Sorry, no WiFi - so take the opportunity to relax away from the pressures of modern life. If you can drag yourself away from the dunes and the beach, The Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum in St Ives are within easy reach, as are Penzance and St. Michael's Mount. The chalet provides an ideal base for exploring Cornwall’s many other attractions including The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There are three great places to eat nearby: The Jam Pot Cafe (with possibly the best homemade cakes in the county!) Godrevy Beach Cafe for great breakfasts, lunches and healthy options The Rockpool Cafe and Bar, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks until late. Bus services run from Gwithian to Hayle and St Ives in one direction, and St Agnes, Perranporth and Newquay in the other. The chalet is 5 miles from the mainline railway station at St Erth or 6 miles from Camborne Station.
