Bellan Barn

The barn was converted in 2016 to a luxury holiday let, decorated with modern and traditional touches. The barn is spacious and comfortable, with its own patio and shared use of the garden. The barn is next to our family home. We welcome families, business guests, walkers, couples and furry friends. The barn makes an ideal touring base for our local area, is within easy reach of great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, plus the beaches/castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia/Chester. The barn is in a peaceful location, with plenty of space to relax and take in the view. Ideal for dog walking locally, and a 30 minute walk into the market town of Mold ( albeit an uphill walk back at the end of the night!), or a 5 min drive. We have Loggerheads country park 5 mins away by car, local pub is 15 min walk away, and supermarkets a 5 min drive away. The barn is self contained, and next to our main house. The barn has its own patio ( not self contained) but we don't mind you making use of the rest of the garden ( as long as you clean up after dogs!) Someone will generally be around if you have any questions, but we won't cramp your style and leave you alone to enjoy your break. It takes 5 minutes to drive from the barn into the pretty market town of Mold, with its street market on a Wednesday and Saturday, variety of supermarkets, and various pubs and restaurants. 5 minutes away all is the renowned Theatr Clwyd, with its two theatres and cinema. It has fantastic productions all year 'round, including its always highly anticipated 'Rock 'n Roll' panto each year. From the Barn it is a 15 min walk to the nearest pub, and a 30 min walk into the town of Mold. From there you can get a bus to places such as Chester, Wrexham and the coast - Prestatyn is 30 mins away. There is plenty of private parking at the barn, and we welcome ( up to 2) dogs. We have two labradors who are very friendly and may well pay you a visit if you don't mind! The ground floor is all on one level, no steps. The patio and gardens are not self contained, and so not secure to leave dogs outside without keeping an eye on them!
