Twiga House is a romantic, atmospheric and rustic holiday cottage. It is spiced with African accents. Get back in tune with yourself at this special location in France, surrounded by nature. Be delighted by the space and the quiet! Twiga House, which forms part of our property dating back to 1875. It has been renovated, keeping its authentic character intact. Romantic, atmospheric and rustic, it is spiced with African accents. Twiga House has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, furnished kitchen, and a cosy living room with dining area and wood heater. The master bedroom contains a double bed, while the second bedroom has bunk beds. Bedding is provided. There is room for a maximum of 4 people, and an extra children’s cot can be provided at no extra charge. We offer loads of room to relax. On your own terrace, in the orchard, in the farmyard, in the meadow or by our lake. The farmyard and the terrace are south-facing. The grapevines above the terrace provide shade on a hot summer’s day. In the summer we offer Table d ' hôtes in our cosy, country-style outdoor restaurant. Kimaro Farmhouse is situated amongst rolling meadows. In the morning you’ll be greeted by our ‘neighbours’, the Charolais cows, for which Burgundy is so famous. From the property, you can take a sandy trail into a gigantic forest - perfect for a long walk, or mountain-bike ride. Culturally, Burgundy is one of the most interesting regions of Europe and is the wine region of France. Aside from this, Burgundy offers one of France’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes, and where joy and tranquility are king. The picturesque French villages, castles and landscapes in our immediate surroundings will truly delight you. Kimaro Farmhouse stands for quality and authenticity on a small scale. Guests have access to free wood supplies for the wood heater. Bedlinnen is included. Towel package: No hassles with wet towels in your luggage for the return trip. You can rent a towel package for € 4,50 per package. A package consists of 1 large bath sheet and 1 bath towel. Kitchen package You can rent a kitchen package for € 4,50 per package. A package consists of 1 kitchen towel, 2 tea towels and a dishcloth. You can reserve your kitchen and/or towel package while making your reservation.
