Watercress Corner

Situated in leafy Kings Worthy in a quiet cul-de-sac, 5 mins from the M3 Junction 9. A private driveway accommodates 2 cars. There are 3 loos in the house. The private garden has a lockable gate. The entire house was redecorated in 2019. Nearby : an award winning farm shop, Tesco, post office, pubs and too many great restaurants to mention them all. A sparkling clean home is what you can always enjoy. To add to my cleaning regime, and in line with current world events, I have adopted Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: To prevent cross-contamination you can be assured of a buffer of at least 24 hours between bookings. As the only cleaner at the property I wear full protective gear. On entering the house I gather up all rubbish and remove it from the property, all towels and linen are removed and bagged, and all high touch surfaces such as door knobs and light switches are cleaned then disinfected including the lock box and keys at the front door. The TV remote is in a plastic covering which will be changed for each booking. The bathrooms and the kitchen are steam cleaned with a Karcher steam cleaner before I disinfect the surfaces. The entire 2 bedroom house is all yours. I will try and meet you on arrival keeping physical distancing in mind. Otherwise there is a lock box in the porch for self check-in which works very well. I am available by mobile during your stay. The neighbourhood is residential, very friendly and quiet. The City of Winchester normally has a wonderful Christmas Market in the grounds of the cathedral. There are fantastic restaurants and pubs scattered around the local area. If you need any advice, please contact me. Not far from the M3 Junction 9. Parking for 2 cars on the private driveway. A bus stop is within 30 seconds walk away from the house and takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get in to the City. Alternatively you may call a local taxi firm if you prefer. Winchester Train Station is on the bus route with fast access to London Waterloo (takes about 1 hour) or the South Coast.
