Casina in a XVII century Palazzo

Entire house (two floors) in one of the finest XVII c. building in Muro Leccese. The house is very charming, has beautiful views and a terrace with outside kitchen. Great for four friends, two couples or a couple with grown up kids.The house is located in the center of Muro Leccese, just a 4 minute walk from the main square and restaurants and bars. Sophisticated shabby chic. Entrance to the apartment is from the wooden door that you see in the picture. A steep stairway takes you to the first floor. There you find the kitchen with a large window overlooking the square and, behind it, the oldest part of Muro (in the style of an arab Medina, with really narrow streets). On the same floor, there is a bathroom and a small room ancillary to the kitchen. Another stairway takes you to the second floor. Upstairs you will find a large bedroom, again with views of the square, with its own bathroom, and a large terrace. On the terrace there is an outside kitchen. In the summer, the terrace is used to chill out. On the other side of the terrace there is the second bedroom with its own bathroom. Both bedrooms are adorned with fireplaces. The terrace and the second bedroom look onto town gardens and in the background the old church in the main square. The place is very elegant, and the terrace creates a very pleasant vacation atmosphere. I am always available by mail and there is a housekeeper who is there for all your needs Muro Leccese is one of the finest towns south of Lecce, never too crowded but also never too empty (in the winter). Very safe. The sea of Otranto, just 10 minutes, is one of the finest in Italy. In Otranto there is a private beach with shade area and a small restaurant which we normally suggest. Otherwise, there are many places that you can discover if you are more on the adventurous side. The house is in a beautiful square which is almost "private" (our house takes the entire square front), and is 100 m. from the main square. In the vicinity you will find excellent sweets and cakes and some fine restaurants, really affordable. There is no washing machine and dish washer. Electricity is extra during the summer due to air conditioning. Dogs are not allowed
