Lovely retreat in pittoresque Luxembourg
A bright and spacious studio where you have your own entrance, own parking and a private sunny terrace with garden surrounded by green. A private & quiet place. Located in the middle of a very peaceful and pittoresque village, surrounded by forests & farmland. In summertime it stays nice & cool. The rich culture of Luxembourg City in combination with the beautiful forests and countryside, filled with famous hiking and cycling trails, promises a very nice and relaxing weekend or week away. The studio has his own kitchen: - induction cook top - kettle for tea and/or coffee, tea/coffee included - Nespresso coffee machine with several cups and different tastes. - fridge filled with fresh local products Private bathroom: - rain-shower - wash basin - toilet - lots of storage space - soap, shampoo, conditioner will be provided - enough different size towels provided Bedroom: - double bed - 2 x duvet, on request 1 large possible - 3 different kind of pillows for each person Living room: - wardrobe - breakfast table with chairs - big table with space for laptop/working space - 2 sofa chairs Extra : - washing machine and dryer in one (washing powder included) - Oven/Microwave, for warming up pizza’s. - fast internet via your own router Terrace: - two opening doors to the garden - outdoor lounge chair - table and 2 chairs Lovely smelling lavender garden with beautiful view and a big terrace on the side with lounge chair and dinner table from where you can oversee the green hills on the other side. Sunny in the morning, shade in the afternoon and evening. The Tiny House stays easily cool during summer. In wintertime easily heated. We live as family in the house uphill behind the ‘Tiny House’. We have as family our own terrace and front garden on the other side, so you can have all the privacy you want. We don’t use the garden, the terrace or the parking space while you are staying as a guest. Off course for any question about finding your way in this area or any other question, we are always around. The longest cycle path of Luxembourg can be found around the corner. Plenty of hike and walking trails within short reach. Luxembourg city is easily reachable by bus and tram. Within 10 minutes by car. Businesses center Kirchberg even more close by. And Luxembourg airport ‘Findel’ only a 5 minute drive. By bus: You can easily reach the village by bus nr. 120. Our bus stop is only one street paralel further then our house (5 min walk). Name of the bus stop: “Rameldange Am Duerf” Walk downhill to Rue Principale. From there it is easy to find. From the main train station in town “ Gare” to here: 20 min. From the middle of Luxembourg town “Hamilius”: 15 min From business center “Kirchberg”: 10 min From the national airport “aéroport Findel”: 7 min For more accurate information about public transportation, please check on: (Website hidden by Airbnb) (a very useful app) Taxi: (Website hidden by Airbnb) can bring you for a fair price. Just easily book online on their website or call them at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) . By car: We live nearby the national airport “Findel” and bussiness center “ Kirchberg” district. The highway E44 between Germany (Trier) and Luxembourg city will bring you to airport “Findel”. Not far away from the “route de Soleil”, our place showed to be a perfect stop for people who want to make a stop on their way to or back from the south (France). Directions by car: By car our place is easy to find from the highway. Drive towards the airport “aeroport Findel” and take the exit Senningerberg where a big petrolstation is to be found. Go straight left (opposite of petrolstation) and follow the road for a while (5 min) until you see a sign “Rameldange” on your right (after passing a sand excavation) go downhill (next to a soccer/football club with a field). Drive downhill until you see the first cluttered village houses, there you will find Rameldange. Please drive into the village to the Main Street “Rue Principale” and ask me or text me for further directions. Hopefully these directions are helping you! Rameldange and Hostert are part of the Niederanven Commune. We have a big supermarket nearby with little shops and a coffee corner & bakery. Supermarket The MATCH: open from 8AM - 8PM, only on Sundays 8PM-1PM. Route de Trèves 141, Niederanven Behind the supermarket there is an amazing swimming-pool with a scenic outdoor pool, attached to many indoor-pools. This place is famous for the SPA facilities (including a large sauna area and a beauty center). SYRDALL-swimming pool: Routscheed 3, Niederanven For a day trip, many castles are nearby. For example, Bourglinster Castle (10 min) and nearby the Little Swiss hiking area (Mullerthal) with many castles and venues: Castle Beaufort, Castle Larochette and the ancient village Echternach with the famous St. Willibrord Basilica (20 min). The most intact Castle Vianden and Castle Bourscheid are 30 min drive up north. Worth visiting! As well the Roman city Trier is only 20 minutes drive away, and very nice for a day trip.
