Relax on west slope Penha hill, 30 min from Oporto

Quinta Milhão is a family farm located in Guimarães, a historical portuguese city considered the cradle of the nation. Surrounded by forest, sculptural granite rocks and blueberry plantation it is the perfect getaway for relaxation. Casa Nova is a modern house with one bedroom, one bathroom and one living room with kitchen and open space for more two guests. It can accomodate 4 adults, although it is more indicated for a family with two children or a couple. Our farm has more guesthouses and a beautiful garden with swimming pool, shared by all the guests. Normally swimming pool is open from May to September. During blueberry harvesting, Quinta Milhão wakes up with sunrise! Normally, towards end of May and during June occurs the blueberry harvest. Blueberries contain severel nutrients, within which large quantities of antioxidants. Harvesting begins with sunrise, so that the fruit is at its best. It’s an experience! Learning how blueberries grow and go to our table. And of course, you could participate in this, as well as try them.
