Charming Villa walk to Pioppi beach. Dogs Welcome!

Beautiful Villa for up to 5 people immersed in the mediterranean scrub. Relax here safely away from crowds! Walk 4 minutes to Pioppi beach and village center with top restaurants, cafes and shops. Ideal place for couples, families and friends who prefer the comfort of a full sized home! Dogs are also welcome and will love running around our fenced garden! Hike from our villa into the serene nature and clean air of the Cilento Park! The kitchen is fully equipped for food lovers! Pioppi is a hamlet of Pollica, the city with the cleanest sea in Italy! We decorated the villa to give you a wonderful stay, there is even a piano in the living room if you want to get in some musical practice time! We provide Yoga matts, swim goggles and bocce balls for fun. Many of our guests are foodies that love to cook, and we can tell you the best places to get the freshest ingredients in the area. In town, yet private and set away from the summer beach crowds, will give you the best mix of a holiday experience mixing a sea and mountain settings at the same time! There are tons of things to do a short distance from here, and will help you plan your perfect holiday. Full main floor of the villa, private entrance - Outdoor shower at rear of the house for after the beach - Front wooden patio with shaded pergola with dining table for 6 - Front and rear upstairs balconies with wooden benches - Parking for 2 cars at rear of the house (parking in town is very difficult with very few spaces, so this is a huge plus if you are staying in the Pioppi!) Hiking on the hill behind the house! Occasionally your international hosts Gerry (NYC) and Irina (Moscow) use a downstairs studio with separate entrance as their private residence, mostly on weekends, and are happy to let you know more about Pioppi and surrounds when they are around. If we are around, we would love to hang out one evening over a glass of wine and tell you about us and all the great places you can explore in the area. - Cooking class? Fashion Makeover Tips? Gerry and Irina will be happy to arrange for either if this is something you would like. The cooking class or Fashion Makeover are 75 Euros each (plus the cost of ingredients for the cooking class which will become your lunch or dinner!). When you are here, you will see wildlife, the occasional goat bleating and its bell clanking, lots of songbirds chirping during the day, crickets singing at night, a cool breeze rolling down from the hill behind the villa in the evenings and the sound of gentle sea waves and a sea breeze at the front of the house. - Nearby towns to check out are Acciaroli, Casal Velino and Ascea, which also houses the Greek ruins of Velia archaeological park - Closest train station is in Ascea - with shuttle bus service to Pioppi (10 minutes car ride to the station) . Frequent trains to/from Naples and Salerno. The trains also stop at Paestum if you would like to spend one day visiting the Greek ruins and wonderful museum there. In the summer time, there is also Ferry service to Salerno and the Amalfi coast from a nearby port (5 minutes drive). Otherwise a 60 minute train ride to Salerno takes you to the seaport there, and you can visit the amalfi coast from there. Please note that, as the villa is located on a short hill, people that have difficulty walking, or with small children in strollers may find it more convenient to drive down to the village from our villa rather than walking.
