Located in the historic old town of Rochester, the accommodation is just a short stroll from the Norman castle and cathedral, and a five minute walk to the vibrant high street filled with live music, quaint pubs and delicious eateries.. 10 minutes walk from Rochester station, with regular fast trains to London, and in the opposite direction, the Kent coastline. Guests have a private entrance and free on-street parking. The rooms are decorated in warm tones, embossed wallpaper highlighted by rich splashes of red. The luxurious beds boast 100% Egyptian cotton bedding ready to sink into after a busy day out. A full private bathroom comprising bath with shower, toilet and hand basin A well equipped kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and fridge. A breakfast of cereals, porridge, breads, jams, a platter of cheeses and cold meats and fruit is provided. Guest access is the entire top floor of the house. Guests will have their own key to the front door. The front door is shared by the main house - for deliveries and collections. I am in residence, but the sections of the house are entirely separate. I live on the ground floor of the property I am always on hand to welcome guests, provide local tips on what to see and do, and ensure that guests can experience the best of Rochester. A cathedral that's over 1000 years old, the world's second oldest school, founded in 608AD and a castle that is one of England's most outstanding examples of Norman Romanesque architecture - history buffs need look no further. Rochester Cathedral hosts a vibrant programme of concerts, exhibitions and activities throughout the year. And of course the history and life of Charles Dickens pervades the town especially during the summer and winter Dickens festivals where many of the town's residents dress up in Dickensian costumes!
