This delightful and charming end terrace house, which dates from 1877 and is a listed category C building of architectural and historical interest. It is lies within Jedburgh’s conservation area. Jedburgh is a town and a former Royal Burgh in the Scottish Borders and a traditional county town of the historic county of Roxburghshire. It is 10 miles (16 km) from the Border of England. Jedburgh lies on the A68 between the cities Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne. This house sleeps 4, but ideally suited to a couple or 2 people sharing or a family with an older child, for a luxury stay whilst exploring and discovering the hidden treasures and steeped traditions of the Scottish Borders. There are 2 double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a fantastic view of Jedburgh Abbey. The 2nd bedroom has a raised double bed which incorporates the head space for the stairs underneath. Not suitable for younger children. The kitchen is fully equipped, modern with integrated appliances. There is on street parking available in Abbey Close where the house is situated. The Garden to the front of the property is an attractive feature as it runs down towards the Jedburgh Abbey which includes a patio area, there is also a small gravelled area down a few steps. We live approximately 10 minutes from the property, we are available to assist in any way if required to do so, we will not interact with guests unless required. Abbey House is situated in Abbey Close, a quiet tucked away cul-de-sac, 5 minutes walk from the Town Square of Jedburgh. There are local public houses, restaurants, takeaways and a few specialist unique shops.
