Wenningdale Escapes 'Ellergill' Glamping Pod

Our totally bespoke and luxurious pods were handmade in our own workshops. They offer a comfortable glamping experience with fantastic views over Bentham Golf Course and Ingleborough, one of the Yorkshire three-peaks. Join us for glamping in style with all the essential home comforts to help you enjoy your break. Each pod consists of: • A kitchenette area - equipped with sink, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and food preparation area. Crockery is provided along with life’s essentials including scissors, a bottle opener, corkscrew and can opener! We also provide 2 of each of the following: wine glasses, water glasses, plates, bowls, knives, forks, dessert spoons and teaspoons. • A sleeping area - the Ellergill has a super king bed. All bedlinen, including pillows and duvets, are supplied • A dining area – enjoy your meals at our compact table with dining chairs inside your cosy pod, or make the most of the • Patio and covered deck – with table and chairs for your ‘brew with a view’ or al fresco dining when the British weather allows you to enjoy the sun and a BBQ. (Please note that BBQs are not provided but disposable BBQs are available to buy in the village) • En-suite facilities - including a toilet, basin and shower with towels and complimentary toiletries. • Electric lighting, sockets and USP ports - provided in convenient positions throughout the pod. • Electric heating - which you can adjust yourself for the perfect temperature all year round. • TV – make sure you don’t miss your favourite TV show on our wall mounted 32” TV screen with free view channels. Breakfast is available at 1922 Bar & Kitchen, the on-site restaurant, for an additional cost. A continental breakfast can be arranged for inside your pod, at an extra cost. We can also make you a picnic to take away on any adventures you may be planning. Please dont hesitate to ask for more information about these options. Just another reminder that these pods are on the golf course, above the 9th green and close to the 10th tee. You're not in any danger of getting hit, it's just to let you know as things can be a little busier in peak season. It will usually be around 9am on-wards before there is much activity close to the pods. Due to their secluded location, parking is not available alongside the pods. We will transfer your lodge to our buggy and take you to your pod. Our pods are individual, stand alone bedrooms. There is a patio outside with furniture and also additional benches. Also onsite is an 18 holes golf course, 8 bay driving range, restaurant open daily (daytime only normally) and footgolf course (Wednesdays and Sundays during the summer months). The pods are located on the golf course, above the 9th green and close to the 10th tee. Don't worry though, you're not in danger of getting hit! We have staff on site 7 days a week, and wardens living on the park next to reception who work 5 days a week. Our check in processs is entirly contactless but there's always someone at the end of the phone should you need help. The market town of High Bentham is a 10 minutes walk away with a Spar and Co-op (open from 7am to 10pm 7 days a week) 2 bakeries, a butchers shop, hardware store, beauticians and fruit/veg shop. There are 4 pubs, an Indian restaurant and 2 Indian takeaways as well as a Chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop. Public transport is limited as we are a rural area but it is an option. The train station is approx. a 15 minute walk away ( or a very short drive!) Bentham is the nearest Train Station which is on the Lancaster/Morecambe to Leeds line. There is a bus stop on Robin Lane, approx 100 metres to our reception. Lancaster bus station is the closest main station. Manchester Airport is approximately 1hr 30 minutes and Leeds Bradford Airport is approximately 1hr 15 minutes. Dogs are welcome but there is an additional charge per dog (paid through Airbnb). We do ask that dogs are kept on a lead when you are walking around the park and permitted areas on the golf course (limit of 2 dogs).
