Derek's Countryside Bungalow with 7kw EV Charger

A beautiful self contained bungalow, set in a fantastic & peaceful countryside location. - Double bedroom - Private kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge/small freezer - Modern bathroom - Comfortable living room with a double (sprung hypnos mattress) sofa bed and 55” Smart TV with Sky - High standard throughout with full central heating - Parking on site for 2 vehicles - 7kw EV charger available at an extra cost per charge. - Sorry No Pets allowed Due to the Coronavirus, we're taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Parking for two cars is available on site. A 7kw EV charger is available (extra charges apply - please contact us for cost). The bedroom has built in wardrobes, a double bed, flat screen wall mounted TV and a safe. Also, if needed, there is a travel cot available (please message us if you would like the use of this). This means we therefore have the capacity to accommodate a 5th guest (a little one up to the age of 3). The lounge has a 55" Smart TV, DVD Player and Sky Q Mini box. In here there is also the sofa bed & dining table. The property is a self contained bungalow, which is attached to the main house via our utility room. Please note if two guests book but require both beds there will be a charge of £10.00 per stay to cover the cost of laundry etc. This will be payable on arrival We live in the main house on site so are available most of the time and will be happy to help if we can. We would normally endeavour to meet our guests on their arrival to show them the property and be available when they leave but due to the Coronavirus we can, if preferred, give guests the code to the outside key safe to minimise contact. Our telephone numbers will be provided for use during your stay in case of emergency or query. Burscough is a fantastic village that has grown so much over the past 20 years to provide everything you would want. From the wharf by the canal that houses restaurants and shops to the multitude of pubs and restaurants that provide fantastic cuisines of all types. It really is a thriving village that retains a great balance. We are lucky to be near to the Leeds - Liverpool canal for wonderful walks and only ten minutes (by car) from Martin Mere which is part of the Wildlife & Wetlands Trust (made famous by the BBC). The Market town of Ormskirk is a ten minute drive away and holds weekly outdoor markets usually on a Thursday and Saturday. It is a bustling market town that hosts one of the top universities in the UK (Edge Hill). We are approx 40 minutes drive away from Formby nature reserve, which is one of 17 strongholds of Red Squirrels in the North of England. Along the coast from there are Ainsdale and Southport. Aintree Racecourse is only 20/25 minutes away by car. Anfield / Goodison football grounds are both approximately 40 minutes away We are very lucky to be within easy reach of Liverpool, Southport, Ormskirk, Preston, Manchester (via road or rail) Burscough has two train stations (Burscough Bridge & Burscough Junction) therefore Liverpool, Southport, Preston & Manchester are easily reached. It has easy access to the M6, M57 and M58 (all approximately 20 minutes drive) Countless walking routes can be accessed from the bungalow or from within a short driving distance There will be a welcome pack in the bungalow that will include a small loaf, butter and milk. If you do have any dietary requirements please message us and we will try to supply alternatives to the above. When your booking includes an infant could you please message us to let us know if you require the use of our travel cot and high chair.
