Here you’ll find many scenic walks enjoying the incredible , and ever changing colours of nature . The cafe and gift shop are a lovely addition to your time here . The famous house is 5 minutes walk away and is open to visitors and offers an interesting look into its history . Your space is bright and airy with everything you need to make your stay cosy and special . If you’d like to treat yourself to a relaxation treatment as part of your stay , as an experienced & fully qualified therapist , I can offer facials and massages (full body or back & shoulders ) in the comfort of your living area . These are priced from £30 with the use of Dermalogica professional products . If you’d prefer to enjoy a treatment in a salon environment, my beauty salon is a 5 minute drive from the accommodation where we can offer all things beauty and relaxation. A 10% discount on all treatments is offered to all guests at the Stables . Any bookings for treatments in salon or at the stables can be arranged by myself but please give as much notice as possible as we are a busy salon . Please note there is one double bed only and a small sofa. There isn’t a sofa bed . The shower is in the bath and must be used for showers only . There are no bath taps and the bath cannot be filled . Your private entrance is accessible through the gate at the top of the drive . A key coded box is wall mounted and the code for this will be available when booking . I do live in one half of the house but I have my own entrance . If there’s anything you may need I’m available to help . My small dog Charlie lives with me too but he won’t bother you , as everything you have is self contained to your space . Your 5 mins walk from temple Newsam estate . There’s a pub 2 mins walk away, and ‘The Springs’ is a 5 minute drive where you’ll find a cinema, restaurants, bars, a pure gym , and various retail units . . A train station nearby takes you into Leeds city centre in 7 minutes or York in 30. There are many beautiful walks and cycle paths in and around the local area . A breakfast to go is provided inclusive of the price .
