Lovely Room @ Historical Delfshaven

Modern, lovely double bedroom with big casement windows, sunny afternoons in a beautiful, renovated building. Just a 7 min. metro ride to Rotterdam centre. Public transport,taxi,supermarkets,nightshop,drugstores,market etc are right at your doorstep. I can offer you a comfy stay in a lovely, sunny double bedroom with marble floor and large casement windows. The room is located on the first floor in a recently renovated building, situated on a lovely, lively, little square. Our house is only just a two minute walk from Historical Delfshaven and close to Rotterdam Centre. The room has a small safe, refrigerator, standing mirror with the option to hang your clothes, tv and WiFi. The room is accessibel by glass sliding, lockable doors (privacy guaranteed by large curtains). You share: • a light a light, cozy kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven, waterboiler, Nespresso Coffee machine and a dining table for four • a beautiful, marble bathroom with shower and toilet facilities and hairdryer available with my guests in the larger double bedroom, also located on this floor. The set up of the two rooms is as such that this floor can also be booked as a two room apartment with kitchen and bathroom for four people. I refer to my other ad for booking the larger, double bedroom on the same floor. You have acces to your room ofcourse, the (shared) kitchen and bathroom. Me and my mom will make sure you have everything you need for pleasant stay. I live very close-by, in case you need anything..! Visit the district of Delfshaven, located close to vibrant Rotterdam centre. In Multicultural Delfshaven no one is an outsider. The people are relaxed and friendly. The building is situated on a lovely, little, lively square with benches, an organic shop and McDonalds next door. Around the corner left and right you will find drugstores, money exchange, teller machine, restaurants, pubs, hairdressers,internetcafe, nailstudio, fresh fishstore, butcher, a landromat and a large variety of other small stores. In romantic, 16th century, Historical Delfshaven, close to the building, you will find a small beerfactory, art studio's , a large poolcafé and various nice restaurants. Across the street is a large supermarket (Jumbo, open from 08:00 - 21:00 7 days a week). On Thursday and Saturday there is a large market at a 5 minute walking distance from the apartment, where you can buy a variety of products. Across from the building there is also an evening supermarket, open till midnight. There is a large bio-organic supermarket (Eko Plaza) just a few stops away if you take the tram in the direction of Rotterdam centre. This tram also takes you along the Nieuwe Binnenweg, the longest shopping street of Holland. The Erasmus university hospital is only two metro stops away from the building. Metro (subway) acces is two steps from my house, with a connection to the centre of Rotterdam (7 min. ride) or Rotterdam Central Station (10 min. ride), to the nearest town Schiedam and even to The Hague Centre. Metro runs from (05:30 - 00:30) daily, every five minutes during the busy part of the day, less frequent outside peak hour, weekends, holidays and in the evening. Tram stop is a few steps from my house and goes directly to the nearest town Schiedam in one direction and the Nieuwe Binnenweg, bubbly Rotterdam Centre and the Rotterdam CS in the other direction. The Tram runs from (05:30 - 00:30) daily about every 10 minutes during the busy part of the day. Less frequent outside peak hour during the weekends, holidays and in the evening, Taxi stand is in front of the building with taxi's available from (19:00 - 06:00) daily. Unfortunately, like in every big city, it's paid parking. You can park in the street or around. It costs EUR 1,67 for 1 hour, from monday till saturday from 09:00 till 18:00. Outside these hours and on sunday it's free parking. Laundry service can be provided for €5,00 per load. Guests don't have acces to the washer and dryer, i'll do your laundry...
