The airport is 45-50 minutes drive The whole house is available to the guests, with the exception of 1 room, which is used for storage of personal items. We use a property management company, who assits us when we can't be there personally. We are always available by phone and there is always someone on hand for any emergencies or callouts. Madalena Do Mar is a really special village. Its a fishing village and producer of bananas. You can explore the banana plantations via the levadas that wind through the plantations, surrounding the village as well as the banana processing factory near the village centre. The ancient church is an amazing place to visit. Being in a rural village, a car is necessary. With a car, you can easily reach the villages nearby, the supermarkets, restaurants and nearby beaches. HEATED POOL! you can have a heated pool with a temperature of 28 degrees for a 35 euro per day surcharge.
