Rural glamping in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the village of East Knoyle. Set within an official Dark Sky Reserve, only the clouds will tarnish your view of the stars, best admired from the wood fired hot tub (available to hire for £50 extra - payable on arrival). Our two luxurious canvas tents and comfortable shepherd's hut make the perfect viewing platforms to spectate nature at its best. Located on top of a hill surrounded by wildflowers, woodlands and arable farmland, the entire field is for your group only - no other guests will be onsite. We have two bell tents measuring four and six meters in diameter, plus a shepherd hut with wood fired hot tub, kitchenette, woodburner, storage and extra bed on the mezzanine. Woodlands Tent Set at the top of the hill making the most of the sweeping views. It is close to the outdoor dining area, shower & bathroom facilities and is surrounded by woodland so well sheltered from the elements. Sleeps 1>4 guests, 1 or 2 king bed or up to 4 singles Dog-Rose Tent High above the trees in it's own pocket of Woodland's Field sits the beautiful Dog-rose bell tent. Very spacious with a private viewing platform, outdoor seating & a gas stove for making tea in the morning. Sleeps 1>4 guests, 1 or 2 king beds or up to 4 singles. At night paraffin hurricane lamps are available to guide the way around. Being off-grid means there is limited heating in the tents so guests are provided with hot water bottles and blankets to stay warm & cosy. SHEPHERD HUT The shepherd's hut was built authentically by local farmer and owner of the field. Spacious, comfortable and heated by a wood burning stove. The kitchenette is well equipped with a farmhouse sink, running water, kitchen utensils and crockery. The hut also has an en-suite shower, sink and composting loo. * Outdoor Dining * This area, situated next to the shepherds hut at the top of the field with a dining table, gas stove, large cool box and an open firepit with seating. The site currently hosts three couples or two families (extra beds can be provided for children or additional guests). The king size beds can be split into singles for individuals and children. We need 30 min warning prior to your arrival so we can greet you (the entrance is very secluded and not visible from the road). The field is private and remote, set at the top of a steep hill and accessed by foot. We can drive you and your belongings up the hill in one of our vehicles when you arrive. Car parking is in a secure farmyard at the bottom of the field, gates opened at around 08:30 and closed around 20:00. Should you require access to the yard before or after these times to move your vehicle please contact us. Either Deb or Olivia will be nearby on the farm should you need anything urgent or important during your stay Remote and peaceful field set just outside Milton Village. The surrounding woodlands and countryside is riddles with wildlife, farmland and scenic walks Your own transport is recommended as the tents are 14 mins from Tisbury train station and 18 mins from Gillingham train station. If coming to stay at Bellorama in the wet and cold months, please bring warm and waterproof clothing and waterproof boots (with good tread / grip). The site is accessed by walking up a hill in a sometimes muddy field.
