The Old White Lion, Chapel Stile
The Old White Lion is a lovely quaint cottage dating from the 18th century. It was once the village Inn – hence its name. Lovers of real ale may also care to note that they used to brew their own beer on the premises too! The lane on which it stands used to be the old road which ran through to the quarry. Once it would have been bustling with life as the workers called by for a drink on their way home. Now it is a quiet backwater, providing tranquillity and fantastic views across the valley. Accommodation comprises of on the ground floor a spacious lounge with feature beams and newly fitted log burner, dining room, galley style kitchen, and generous utility room with plenty of drying space and storage for outdoor equipment including bikes, walking boots and wet dogs!. Leading off the utility room is a cloak room with w.c. and hand basin. Upstairs you have a spacious master bedroom featuring an en-suite wc and shower. A double and a twin bedroom and a separate family bathroom. On street parking for 1 car. I won't be available in person, however feel free to contact me with any questions.
