It’s all our home, but the Coach house will be your own space. Fitted with modern living conveniences, the ground floor has a south facing, sunny aspect overlooking a large courtyard. Small area for your use. 1 double bedroom, 1 smaller double bedroom( subject to booking) , double sofa bed .Wet room. kitchen area. Strictly No Smoking inside or outside. Spacious open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area. Downstairs wet room . Character features with modern furnishings. Accessed by a porch with coat hangings, storage space and a washing machine for your use .Large south facing bedroom with double bed accessed via an oak staircase. A smaller bedroom with a small double bed will be available for larger groups or on request if separate rooms are required for 2 .There is a double sized sofa bed in the lounge if required/ if applicable. Your courtyard space extends to the wooden bench as per the photo. The rest of the courtyard may occasionally be used by the owner- watering plants etc, but we limit its use when guests are staying. Wood secondary glazing over characterful windows. A porch for your use with coat hangings, shoe storage.Flagstone floor.Plumbed in Washing machine . Oak cottage door to your left with 2 steps to ground floor spaces.Two chairs. Please do not store bicycles in the house or porch, there is a shelter for this, or let me know and I can try to sort storage in the garage . Thanks. Please advise us of your expected arrival time so that we can help if needed with directions to the Coach house or any access issues etc. No admittance after 2030 hrs- sorry but too many previous guests not arriving in check in period ie 0100hrs, so we need to adhere to this now. Situated on the very southern outskirts of the town , with open fields to the immediate south, less than a 1 minute walk from the Stroudwater canal, St. Cyrs Church and Stonehouse Court Hotel( a grade 2 listed manor house), adjacent to several other Grade 2 listed properties. Offering beautiful views ,canalside walks ,links to the Cotswold way. 10 minute walk to Stonehouse Town centre with pubs , restaurants, takeaways, supermarket and assorted shops. 1.7miles from Junc. 13 M5, providing easy access to Cheltenham to the North and Bristol to the south. Railway station in Stonehouse with access to London Paddington. Similarly easy road or foot/ cycle access to Stroud, Selsey, Roborough and Minchinhampton commons . The Stroudwater navigation( canal) is nearing completion . The “Ocean” is a scenic , historic , wildlife haven and considered by some to have been a turning point for canal boats , it’s adjacent to the swing bridge and Church.-see photos. Views of the Cotswold escarpment. Costa coffee located within 0.25 mile walk accessed via canal or road/ path. Stonehouse Town centre is less than a 10 minute walk North, with a range of eateries, take away food options, cash machine and pub. Accessed via a short length of a private road (not owned by us, with a no parking regulation), just off the A419. If you bring more than 1 vehicle only 1 space is available, so alternative parking nearby would apply. Property is accessed via a private road , from the A419,(public footpath )access only to residents and guests.(We don't own the private road but it has a no parking regulation). This leads to the canal and swing bridge. Train Station in the Town centre with access to London Paddington & Cheltenham.1.7 miles from junc13 m5 to the west, Stroud 4 miles to the east, by car, access to Bristol.Great spot for cycling , running, walking up the Cotswold escarpment, over the numerous commons, along the towpaths , the Cotswold way and local woodlands. The designated patio area leads to an ungated set of stone steps . Please note this for your safety-there is no permitted access down the steps to the gothic arched gate.The courtyard area is quite long and a designated area outside the glazed patio doors is for your sole use. Feel free to use the rotary washing line however- which is shared with us. View of the Cotswold escarpment / hills from the (Website hidden by Airbnb) washing machine is free to use, detergent not provided.
