Located in the town of Miranda, this lovely two bedroom private house is 30 meters from the main square yet very quite and restful. Perfect for a short stay or extend holiday in the region, the home has been for many years set up to be a vacation accommodation for the owners and his family who originated from Miranda yet currently reside in Canada. A local representative of the home will ensure your stay is comfortable and all your inquires and requests are immediately addressed. Situata nella bellissima Miranda, un piccolo ma elegante paesino poco distante da Isernia, la casa è situata a pochi metri dalla piazza principale. Negli anni la stessa è stata utilizzata come alloggio per i brevi periodi di vacanza del proprietario e della sua famiglia, che attualmente risiedono in Canada. Ma niente paura, perché Lou ha incaricato chi del posto provvederà a soddisfare ogni vostra esigenza! The house as a private entrance not shared with any other persons. Both bedrooms are a decent size with comfortable beds. Both have access to a wide balcony. There are two older TV sets in the house, however both are not hooked up to any feed. Television viewing is usually not a prerequisite of stays at this house. Most of your time will be spent visiting the area and interacting with the local people of Miranda whom are the very sociable and extremely friendly. The original structure dates back to medieval times, with one meter thick walls therefore the home is very quite and peaceful. Yet the renovations completed in recent years make it quaint and comfortable. The kitchen is more of a kitchenette, with a full range and oven, and full fridge available. The home was set up more for vacationing here and short term stays, not so much for preparing large meals for large groups. Dishes, pots and pans and everything else you require is available however and if you would like to prepare a meal for 1 to 6 persons it can be done. Miranda is a picturesque hillside village that can be seen from the city of Isernia just 6km away. Shaped like an amphitheatre, the town looks in on itself. Miranda sunsets are stunning. Miranda is located only 45 minutes drive the sea side city of Termoli, or two hours from Rome, and only 1.5 hours from Naples. There are many beautiful places to visit that are only a day-trip away. The people of Miranda are very friendly, warm and helpful. The surrounding hills offer amazing forests, that can be hiked directly from Miranda. The town remains authentic very peaceful tranquil and represents ITALY at it's best, absent all of the stress and chaos usually found in larger cities. VOCE IN ITALIANO. Posizione strategica Miranda sorge su una grande roccia ai piedi della sua montagna, a circa 900 metri: è possibile vederla già da Isernia, da cui dista solo 6 km. Varrà la pena fare un po’ di trekking e di escursionismo: la natura in Molise è ancora del tutto incontaminata e merita davvero! La sua posizione è davvero strategica: in 40 minuti potrete raggiungere Roccaraso, se siete amanti dello sci; se invece amate il mare potrete raggiungere la bellissima città di Termoli in 45 minuti. E non siete nemmeno troppo distanti da Roma, raggiungibile in due ore, e da Napoli (circa un’ora e mezzo). Ma Miranda rimane un luogo ospitale e tranquillo: rappresenta l’Italia al meglio, lontano dal caos e dallo stress delle grandi città. It is best to arrive to Miranda by car and have a vehicle available. However public transportation is also available and the bus stop in the main piazza is only 50 meters away from the house. Trasporti VOCE IN ITALIANO. La cosa migliore è arrivare a Miranda in auto. E’ disponibile un servizio bus (la cui fermata dista circa 50 metri dall’appartamento), ma solo in orari prestabiliti. There are two local "bar" caffe shops in and town and one pizzeria. The best cappuccino in Town, actually the region, is located 40 meters away and the best night spot in town is approximately 80 meters away. VOCE IN ITALIANO. Ci sono due bar, situati in piazza: per prendere il vostro caffè o cappuccino basterà percorrere 40 metri; mentre per mangiare un’ottima pizza e trascorrere una piacevole serata, dovrete fare qualche passo in più. L’appartamento si sviluppa su due piani ed è composto da salone, angolo cottura e due camere da letto matrimoniali, piuttosto confortevoli. Entrambe hanno accesso a un largo balcone. L’ingresso è indipendente, per cui avrete l’accesso esclusivo allo stesso. In casa ci sono due vecchi televisori, non funzionanti, ma guardare la tv non è mai stato un nostro prerequisito: se siete a Miranda dovete trascorrere il vostro tempo visitando i suoi pittoreschi scorci e interagire con gli abitanti del luogo, molto socievoli ed ospitali! La struttura originale dell’alloggio risale all’epoca medievale, per cui le mura dello spessore di circa un metro rendono la casa molto silenziosa, perfetta per godervi il meritato riposo! Inoltre la ristrutturazione, ultimata di recente, ha reso l’appartamento ulteriormente confortevole. La cucina, dotata di frigorifero e forno, è piuttosto piccola, ma se volete mettervi ai fornelli non c’è problema: troverete tutto quello che vi occorre per preparare un delizioso pranzo o una cena per voi e i vostri amici!
