Exeter on your doorstep!

Our house is perfectly situated for visiting all that Exeter has to offer. It sits just below the old city wall across the road from the River Exe, just a short walk from the centre with all its shops, eateries and historic features. Or use the Miller's Crossing footbridge opposite, and stroll along the river to the old Quay. There is a rear garden and - a real bonus - a designated parking space in a private car park behind the house. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one with a flat-screen Smart TV) and a shower room and toilet. The shower has a double-size cubicle, with overhead and hand-held shower heads. Guests usually let themselves in by using keys from a key safe, but will always be able to contact us by mobile phone if there are queries. The house is at the end of an attractive terrace, set back from the road by a wide grassy verge with shrubs and trees. Your nearest restaurant is the very popular riverside pub nearby, which has a lovely garden. Barbican Steps behind the car park will take you to the High Street in about 15 minutes - or if that's too much of a gasp, walk along Exe Street instead! Exeter St David's mainline station is 20 minutes level walk away. Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk will be available for you; I personally dislike arriving at an unfamiliar house, feeling tired and thirsty, with no chance of a hot drink!
