Annexe with ensuite superking/twin room.

Guest accommodation is an annexe of the main house, and although we live on-site, you are completely separate. The bedroom is large and can be made up as a superking or twin. En-suite bathroom has an over-bath power shower. Sitting room/breakfast room with TV, DVD player books and games, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. The fridge is stocked with all you need for a continental breakfast and although there is no kitchen, you are welcome to bring takeaways/heat up meals in the microwave. If further accommodation is required, there is another double room with kingsized bed. We can also provide a camp bed and travel cot. You will NOT be sharing the accommodation with anyone, else even if you only take one bedroom. There is no kitchen so clean crockery and cutlery will be replaced daily or more often if needed. There is a Spar shop close by where you can buy extra provisions and newspapers and a good pub and gallery/cafe just a short walk away. There is off street parking behind the house, but the entrance is a little low, so check with us if you have a roof box or large 4x4. There is a small rural train station at the other end of the village which connects us with Bath and Bristol in one direction and Weymouth on the coast in the other. Claire and Nick are on site to help with any queries and are happy to help book local pubs/restaurants and give advice on local attractions and walks. The house is situated in the middle of a beautiful village with many historic houses. The village is surrounded by stunning rural countryside, ideal for walking and cycling and with good pubs. The Jurassic coast is 40mins away with amazing beaches and walking on the coastal path. There are many NT houses and gardens and plenty of childrens' activities in the local area. There is off-street parking behind the property. London trains from Waterloo come direct to Sherborne (5 miles away) and there is a tiny station at the other end of the village which connects us to Bath and Bristol in one direction and Weymouth, on the coast, in the other. There are many local taxi firms happy to provide transport to weddings, parties, etc.
