Escape to a gorgeous country pub, located in an idyllic Devon village. Onsite parking and WiFi available but please be aware there is no phone signal in or outside the pub B&B. This lovely 16th century inn is a stones throw from both the National Trust House of Buckland Abbey and the wonderful Dartmoor. Come and stay for a secret country getaway. **Please note that the pub is closed on Mondays, the B&B is open and we can recommend plenty of local places to eat.** Please be mindful that this is a working pub. A beautiful quiet village surrounded by Devon's finest countryside and Dartmoor. Explore the area and soak in the fresh Devon air and leave feeling relaxed. The bus comes "sometimes", so we advise to arrive by car. The nearest bus stop is in the village of Yelverton and Plymouth is the closest city about 9 miles away. Please not the pub is closed on Mondays (except Bank Holidays). The B&B is still available and we can recommend plenty of pubs nearby for food on the Monday if you wish.
