Friendly hosts offering a cosy room in a modern flat with spectacular views of London's skyline. 20mins by bus to Kings Cross St Pancras. 15mins walk to Finsbury Park or Emirates Stadium. Toiletries, towels & breakfast provided. Car park available. Please note we no longer offer breakfast. Our flat is located on a quiet, private floor. The room is cosy and bright with spectacular views of London's skyline, including the Shard and the Gherkin. Guests have their own bathroom, with shower and bathtub. Please note that a cat lives in this property. Guests would be sleeping on a comfortable Habitat sofa bed (small double). The room also has a desk space and printer should you need it although this is sometimes full of paperwork as it is our office! Bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided. Check in: 3pm. Check out: 10am. On some occasions we might not be able to get home till after 6pm, but we will always alert you to this prior to confirming the booking. If your flight/train leaves well after 12pm, you are welcome to leave your bags and come back to pick them up later. The building has a lift and we have an extra parking space for guests which you can use should you have a car. We are a professional couple working in the arts and academia. We are well traveled, culturally active and have second to none knowledge of London. Between us we speak Arabic, English, Spanish, Italian and French. We will happily advise on theatres, pubs, restaurants in the area and elsewhere. The flat is situated on a quiet, tree lined street in a vibrant neighbourhood close to a range of cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. We are also a short bus ride away from Islington's premiere shopping and eating boulevard, Upper Street on one side, and the plush quiet greenery of Highgate on the other. We are very close to a number of beautiful green spaces for which London is rightly famous. Garden with children's playground 20 meters away. Finsbury Park (ideal for runners or even for a stroll) 10 min walk in one direction and Tufnell park (with tennis courts) 10 mins walk in the other direction. Sainsburys Local and other mini markets just around the corner on Holloway Road. Large Waitrose 7 mins walk. The London famous Nags Head market just round the corner on Seven Sisters Road for fresh fruit and veg, as well as ethnic food. Kings Cross St Pancras a short 20 min bus ride away! The flat benefits from excellent transport options by bus, tube and train with Finsbury Park (Piccadilly and Victoria lines), Holloway Road (Piccadilly line) and Upper Holloway (Overground) only minutes walk away. There are several bus routes that take you to the heart of Central London. If you're coming from Heathrow, hop on to the Piccadilly line and get off at Holloway Road. From there it's a 15 minute stroll or a 5 min bus ride. Alternatively, we can book a taxi for you. (£30 to/from Heathrow, £50 to/from Stansted). This flat is also occasionally up for rent as a whole. It consists of 3 bedrooms (1 alternates as an office), 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite), 2 balconies and a large living room area with open plan kitchen. We also ask that you do not smoke indoors: please go downstairs and step out of the building to smoke. You will have your own set of keys.
