Private entrance to Self Contained Garden View ground floor bedroom in quiet hamlet close Chichester Harbour. WiFi. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST included and eaten in your room or garden. Homemade loaf, cereal, fresh fruit, butter, jams, milk, yoghurt and juice,Tea & coffee. Enjoy view from the window . The Garden Room has its own new front door entrance to the left of our front door to give our guests complete privacy and no contact with us unless we meet outside! Needless to say we are still maintaining high levels of sanitising with our listings. There is alcohol hand sanitizer just outside the front door. We use high quality anti bacterial cleaning products throughout our home. We are not overlooked and have horse fields all around at the rear and open farm land at the front. Good view of garden and wild birds & squirrels that feed on bird feeders through the bedroom window. The shower room is the very next door to your bedroom. There is an excellent pressure shower with lashings of hot water and, toilet and wash hand basin and Mirror. Towels will either be in your bedroom or on the radiator in shower room. Complimentary toiletries. We also have a new bespoke Blackdown shepherds hut self contained with ensuite shower room and kitchen available for rent at the end of our garden. See our other listing. So if you have a couple of friends joining you in your trip we can accommodate them. We also have two bicycles for hire.£10 each per day. Guests are very welcome to stay at our cottage throughout the day, Sometimes we will be working from home and some days we will be away. Everything for breakfast is in your room Breakfast includes: cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread (home made) and preserves. Let me know if you are intolerant to gluten or dairy. Fresh items are in the fridge and cereals and crockery and cutlery are in the kitchen corner trolley under the kettle & toaster there is also a microwave for guests to heat ready meals. Fresh filtered water is in the bottle and please feel free to top up from our kitchen filter tap. When you have finished breakfast please leave all dirty crockery on the tray just outside your room and I remove later and replace items if needed. We are not permitting guests to share our kitchen to cook suppers due to Covid 19, we are sure you understand and thank you for your cooperation. However, if you would like to use our chiminea there are logs available at £6 per bag. Please feel free to enjoy our garden, there are plenty of chairs, tables and parasols and there are always plenty of visiting wild birds to see feeding on the bird feeders. You may also see our chickens roaming free in the garden. If you need to do some laundry - there is a fee of £5 per load. We have a great washing line in the garden for free or a tumble drier in the utility shed at a charge of £3. We are very close to Chichester for the Festival Theatre or the walled city and its famous Cathedral. Plus Goodwood, Chichester Harbour AONB, Itchenor Harbour, Chichester Marina, Birdham Pool, RSPB Reserves at Pagham, Medmerry. We are surrounded by beaches from Selsey and Church Norton to East Wittering, Bracklesham Bay and of course the award winning West Wittering beach. We are keen 'twitchers' and love walking along the chichester harbour and surrounding beaches enjoying the wildlife, flora and fauna. We are extremely close to Southend Barns Wedding Venue in Donnington 2 miles away. Plenty of parking space is available in our drive - just let us know if it is a large van that you have rather than a car and we will move one of our vehicles to accommodate yours. One or both of us can be around as needed. We have an extensive selection of local maps for walks and cycle rides and sea faring charts if needed. waterproof jackets and We are happy to socialise or not as you prefer! Whatever the weather we have lots of interesting places very close by that can be explored by foot or bicycle or car. We are very close to Chichester Harbour and all that it offers. About a mile away is Birdham Pool and now has a week end pop up Coffee bar called the Scuttlebut . A short stroll over the lock and you are at Chichester Marina great for bird watching and there is the Boat House Cafe at the Marina plus Chichester Yacht Club. Bike hire with app bikes is available here. The famous Crab & Lobster pub is in Mill Hamlet Sidlesham.l- very cosy and Welcoming but a bit pricey. There are some lovely walks around here one to Pagham, Sidlesham and across to Church norton Via the RSPB Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve. So take your binoculars. Another pub is the Anchor Pub in Sidlesham about 1.5 miles away, the Lamb Pub near Itchenor is 2 miles away, The Ship Inn at Itchenor is 4 miles (our favourite). Chichester Harbour Conservancy manage the Chichester Harbour and there are boat trips available to explore the harbour. Plus there is a ferry (the Itchy Bosom ferry) from Itchenor to Bosham for foot passengers and bikes. The conservancy have a selection of events/walks and courses available throughout the year. We have a good choice of beaches ranging from West Wittering, East Wittering, Bracklesham, Selsey and Church Norton. Chichester Festival Theatre is 4 miles away and has a fabulous selection of drama and music this season. Chichester itself offers lots of interest - including its Cathedral, Pallant House Art Gallery, shops, cinemas and many good restaurants and cafes. Other places of interest are: Kingley Vale Nature Reserve, Fishbourne Roman Palace, West Dean Gardens, Tangmere Aviation Museum, Portsmouth Historic Dock Yard & Gun Wharf Quay shopping. Parking is available on our driveway, please park where you see a white boat fender that says "Parking" on it! If you can nudge up to this as much as possible leaving access to our workshop. We have two family bikes that we are hiring out this season. £5 per day each bike. Public Transport is on the Birdham Straight just under a mile away. Chichester is 3 miles away where there is a train station. Portsmouth is 20 miles west, Brighton is 35 miles east. There is APPBike available from Chichester Marina if our bikes are hired out. New for 2021 we have a lovely Super Duper Shepherd Hut for two people, a beautifully finished and positioned at the end of our garden with the Fruit Orchard. Due to the Corona Virus we have gone back to offering individual complimentary toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, shower wash, body lotion and soap. We compost green waste and your tea bags and coffee grouts. Any toast crusts get recycled into eggs by our chickens that you will probably see from window.
