Self-contained cosy room, charming quiet village

Ours is a relatively modern house in this lovely village. Built on the side of the hill, there are steps up to the front door & the guest suite is at this level, with its own private entrance. There are trees all around & lots of birdsong in the morning. The guest room has its own entrance door directly into the bedroom and the door to the main part of the house will be locked during your stay, so you can be completely private. There is a seating area with 2 chairs & coffee table. We have a foldable laptop table if you want to work, TV if you want to relax & DAB radio if you want to chill. The bathroom is en-suite with a large, powerful shower. You will be self contained in the guest room, & are very welcome to sit outside on the garden bench if you’d like some fresh air. We usually meet guests when they arrive and are happy to offer any information or recommendations about the local area. You will be able to come & go as you please with your own door into the house. Lovely village with a mixture of newer & older properties and a great pub. The village is compact, set on both sides of a valley, itself close to the river Teign valley. There are several other small villages nearby all individual in character. Most have a pub! It’s best to arrive by car. Access to the village is through some typical (narrow) Devon lanes, narrow but with passing places. There's a dedicated parking space for guests and we can provide secure bike storage in our lockable garage. We can recommend local taxis if you need them while you're here. We have a PodPoint Type 2 car charging point outside the house which guests are very welcome to use for an additional charge.
