The Whirlies Apartment

The apartment is in a Victorian house, c (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We offer a suite with locked access, two bedrooms, lounge and large bathroom with bath, shower WC and sink. The lounge includes a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and crockery and cutlery. Within a few minutes walk, there are three takeaways, a corner shop, two cafes, cash point, pharmacy, and doctors. Large seven seater hot tub, exclusive to the apartment, £15 for each night, paid in advance please. Minimum charge £30. Sunnybank is delightfully Victorian, but with Georgian elements before (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) with a past linked to the industrial heritage of the area, but also a gateway to the natural beauty of the Brecon Beacons. It's a few minutes from the Blaenavon heritage site and a short drive to the Brecon Beacons with magnificent scenery, walks and villages. Sunnybank was extended in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) by Alderman John Daniel, a local philanthropist, and later Cyril Sullivan, a director of the Blaenavon Iron Works.  It features traditional Victoria rooms added to the original Georgian cottage. The house has substantial grounds and gardens, lots of parking and views across to the Lasgarn Woods and down the valley. For the benefit of all of our guests,  WE ARE STRICTLY NON-SMOKING, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. The apartment is separate to the rest of the house and self-contained through a private and lockable door. The owners are available by text and mobile, ( (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ), social media, email and phone. Down the lane from the house can be found a cash point, a one stop shop open til late, a Chinese and an Indian takeaway, a Diner, a workers cafe, a pharmacy, a doctor, and a pizza/Kebab takeaway. A first class fish and chip shop is about a mile away. Most people arrive by car, but we love to get around with our free bus pass. The x24 bus, a three minute walk away, goes to Pontypool, Cwmbran and onto Newport for National Express coaches and fast trains direct to London.  Apart from Sunday, it runs every twelve minutes.
