Surrounded by woodland 10mins from Bristol Airport

Woodside Lodge - because it sits on the entrance to extensive private woodland, whilst located within our own 2 acres of beautiful gardens. We created this stunning Lodge in 2017 with its large windows, cathedral ceiling and fabulous facilities. Whilst ensuring we had a state of the art guest house we wanted it to blend with the neighbouring woodland and with this in mind clad the exterior in oak. We could have created two or even three bedrooms from this space but decided less was more. You enter into an open plan kitchen & dining room with windows on three sides looking towards woodland and gardens. The Kitchen is cutting edge with all appliances and kitchen utensils to make your stay comfortable and home from home. The lounge sits a few steps lower and for those looking for winter comfort there is a wood burning stove with logs ready for loading. If you decide on a night in there is a 50inch SMART TV with freeview. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed with luxurious 'The White Company' bed linen. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and fresh towels & toiletries. You have your own private patio and BBQ and are welcome to enjoy our garden and woodland area. Guests have access to Woodside Lodge from 3pm and we ask that you check out by 11am. One or both of us will usually meet you to hand over the keys and show you around the Lodge, or the keys will be left in a key safe. We will be in touch before your stay with arrival instructions. We will leave you to your own devices to enjoy your stay but please feel free to give us a shout if you have any questions about the Lodge or would like directions, restaurant recommendations etc. The Lodge sits in the gardens of our house but we respect our guests privacy and space. There is plenty of parking. Wildlife: Nature is on your door step if thats your thing, or you're not far from many interesting towns and villages. Whilst we live in this idyllic setting we are close to Bristol airport and you can hear those planes that pass in our direction. This will be compensated by the abundance of wildlife that share the woodland and local farmland. We seldom go a day without seeing deer. You may want to enjoy trying your hand at badger watching. The nearest bus stop is just over 1 mile way. Puppy Love: We have our own two Whippets Pippa & Tiger who you may well meet on your visit or see running round the garden. If you are nervous of dogs, please do tell us and we'll make sure the 'girls' are kept out of the way when you check in and out. Walks: There are a range of walks right from the doorstep in almost every direction. It's just a question of how far you want to go! If it's good pubs you are looking for there are plenty, we can recommend lots to you. We are close to Bristol, Weston Super Mare and Clevedon, Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and Wells are just a short drive away. The property is strictly Non smoking . We can offer parking for our guests who are flying from Bristol airport which is just some 10 minutes away.
