Beautiful, light and spacious 1 Bed Apartment

My light and bright apartment is spacious, warm & set within a secure building in one of the hippest areas in Manchester. With a bus stop is just around the corner, buses stop every 5-10 mins offering great transport links to the centre of the city. Its the perfect location for exploring the city as a visitor, for anyone working and studying at the hospitals and university, and for those passing through for either music events or the football and cricket at the Old Trafford Stadiums. The apartment is situated on the first floor or a 3 floor building. There are only 20 apartments in the block and most are owner occupiers so you will find a very friendly bunch. The apartment is accessible by stairwell and there is a lift if you have a lot of luggage with you. The apartment is open plan and you will find a double bedroom with cupboard and wardrobe space for you to store your things during your stay. There will be extra bedding and blankets provided should you need them. The bathroom will be stocked with Shampoo/Conditioner, Shower Gel, Toothpaste and Mouthwash. Toilet roll will be provided along with a set of clean towels and a robe per guest in the booking. The cupboard in the hallway houses the washing machine, mop and hoover should you need either of these during your stay. The Lounge/Kitchen space stretches the whole length of the apartment with a lovely front facing balcony. Inside you will find seating for everyone, TV and a Music system. In the Kitchen you will have all the mod cons, Fridge Freezer, Oven and Stove, plenty cupboard space and all the utensils and cooking equipment necessary. If you enjoy cooking please feel free to use the endless amounts of spice and seasoning I have. There is a lovely dining table and 4 chairs which sits comfortably in the corner. This is a 2 bedroom apartment which is normally my main home, please make yourself at home and enjoy your stay and treat everything respectfully as you would your own. The main bedroom not featured in this listing will be locked so you will not have access to the second bedroom. Everything featured in this listing will be available to you. I can be there to meet you on arrival and help check in. Alternatively there is a secure lock box available with the keys in for when you arrive. If there are any issues finding the apartment or entering the building I will be available to support you if you need it. Chorlton and Whalley Range are located in the nicest part of Manchester. It has an arty and bohemian feel to it, a lovely walk through the area just a 5 minute walk from the apartment you will find a parade of convenience stores, green grocers, takeaways including Noodle Bar, Pizza, Turkman Grill, Chesters Chicken and a Mediterranean Café. Also along this strip you will find a chemist and medical centre, dry cleaners, Barbers, Independent Record Shop, Post Office and off licence providing Western Union Money services. Another 5 minutes from the parade you will find Alexandra Park, a beautiful fully restored Victorian Park which boasts a beautiful large pond with a population of Geese, Swans and Moore Hens to name a few. If you look closely on the right day there are a family of terrapins living in the water that like to bask in the sun..!! There is a lovely independent café in the park offering snacks, home made cakes and refreshments. If you like keeping fit there are Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts, Football & Cricket pitches along with a fully marked out running track. The park is a space which has been developed to bring a more community feel to the area and is often used for Car Boot Sales, Manchester's annual Caribbean Festival and families and friends often meet up in the summer for BBQ's. In the other direction a 10 minute walk towards Chorlton you will find a nice selection of bars which come highly recommended. The Hilary Step provides craft ales and beers along with a Wednesday Blues night, quiz nights and Live Jazz on Sundays. Next Door there is The Nip & Tipple (LGBT Friendly) which do great pizza and Jam Street Café. All of which have great outdoor space for sunny days. Further down the road there is 'Ashiana' a very popular Indian Take away, Pizza Revolution and a few doors down the road locals love 'The Tibetan Kitchen' and Wellness Cafe both come highly recommended. Although being close to the main bus route into town I am in a quiet zone, a lovely established tree lined street so you'll be happy to know it's quiet in the evenings. There is free on street parking for those coming by car, no restrictions. The apartment is located 20 mins from the centre of Manchester, on the 86 and 15 bus route to town. Both these routes pass by different parts of the university campus 10 mins away from the apartment. The direct bus into the city is the 86 of 15 and takes around 15-20 minutes, bus stop is a 5 min walk round the corner from the apartment, it runs all day everyday usually every 10-15 mins and the route is also part of the night bus route which runs throughout the night from the city centre. Manchester United Football ground is close by a 30 minute walk or 5 min taxi ride on a match day takes you past one or two of the supporters pubs so you can soak up the atmosphere before the game. Uber taxi into town costs roughly £10-15. Access to Manchester Airport is either via the bus into town then a train from the main Piccadilly station. Alternatively you could take the tram from Chorlton which is a 30 minute direct journey into the Airport terminal.
