Glamping Senko - Češnja

"Senko" is similar to traditional buildings called “kozolci” or “seniki” used by farmers in the area to store hay and tools. Senko is placed at the edge of a forest just outside the village Modrejce, at the foot of the hill Cvetje and nearby the lake Most na Soči. It is located in our small campsite Senca. Senko and its immediate surroundings offer peace, unspoiled nature and a total break from the crazy world. Perfect for people looking for something special. Glamping Senko is a part of the small family-owned campsite SENCA. Among the two glampings, there are also twenty parcels for tents. In high season (July, August) it can get busy. If you prefer fewer people we recommended that you visit us in the lower season (May, June, September). But no worries, also in high season you can find your peace. Senko is located slightly higher than other camping places. It boasts the unique view of the Soča valley with the turquoise lake, the blooming fields and the high Tolmin mountains in the background. At campsite, there are two glamping Senko named Cherry and Chestnut. Senko guests have private outdoor kitchen in the forest. Toilets and showers are 100m away and you share them with other camp guests. Guest can access the tent, toilet which is 100m away, shower 130m away. Outdoor kitchen in the forest has everything what you need for cooking. Me and my wife will be glad to share all general and tourist information about Most na Soči and the valley of the Soča River with you. We will be always available if you need us. We are located at the beginning of the village Modrejce near Most na Soči in Soca Valley. At Most na Soči you can find a small shop, a pharmacy, an ATM, a post office, a bar and a restaurant. Bigger groceries shops are located in Tolmin (Hofer, Mercator,..) (7min by car). Most an Soči is well known for its beautiful lake. There are walking paths around it. The colorful lake offers great recreational opportunities (fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming,..) There are so many interesting things to see and do around here that you won't be bored - not even on rainy days. The region is also known for music festivals and sports events in July and August (Overjam reggae festival, Metaldays, Punk rock, Soča outdoor, etc.), which take place only 5 kilometres from our house (5 minutes by car). PERFECT FOR FISHERMAN: Our son Adam is a passionate fisherman and a fishing guide. He knows the hidden spots where the typical fish - the Soča trout - can be found. I'm certain you'll find something for you to enjoy - at our camping and in our valley. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Tolmin is 5km away (7min by car), Kobarid 19km (20 min by car), Nova Gorica 35km (35 min), Ljubljana 97km (1h 30min) You can also visit us by train. Train station Most na Soči is 3km away from us. In advance, you can let us know that you will arrive by train and in this case we can come to the train station to pick you up. Nearby airports: - Marco Polo Venice (170km 2h by car) -Treviso Italy (165km 2h by car) -Jože Plečnik Ljubljana (80km 1h and 40 min) We are an excellent starting point for exploring the Soca Valley.
