Porta House / 30 km from Porto

Rustic traditional house over 150 years old and fully rehabilitated. The house is set in an agricultural estate dedicated to the production of green wine. Proximity to four UNESCO World Heritage sites: Porto Historic Center, Guimarães Historic Center, Bom Jesus de Braga and Alto Douro Wine Region. Rural and quiet environment about 30 km from Porto. Guests will enjoy the property including a vineyard and a park. Within the property there is also the possibility to buy traditional Portuguese decoration products such as ceramics and women's clothes. The house is independent with access to the outside. Guests will enjoy the property including courtyards, vineyards and a park with woods where the swimming pool is located. Swimming pool, available from 1st June until 15th September, unless otherwise specified. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, guests' access to the pool will be subject to certain constraints. To ensure social distance, the pool capacity is limited to 6 people. In turn, the period of use of the swimming pool will also have its duration limited to 2 hours. On each full day of stay, guests in each house can enjoy two periods of use of the two-hour pool to be fixed according to a schedule. The house is very well located for visiting Porto (35 km), Guimarães (35 km), Braga (45 km) and Amarante (20 km) as well as the Douro. In the vicinity (4km) you can also visit Penafiel where you can shop, dine and visit the historic center, monuments, museum and a children's amusement park. It's suggested that guests have their own means of travel, such as a car.
