Modern En-Suite King Room in Kent countryside

A spacious king size bedroom with en-suite shower room situated in a modern townhouse on the sought after Holborough Lakes development. Located on the first floor the room overlooks the garden and features a comfortable reading chair, large mirror, hanging and storage space. The house is perfectly located for exploring the heart of Kent with key amenities close by in Rochester and Maidstone. Guests will have access to all house facilities, including all but exclusive use of the first floor lounge - we usually relax in the downstairs lounge ourselves leaving the first floor for guests. Light cooking is most welcome and the kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, microwave, and fridge/freezer space. We have a dishwasher too to make life easier. Clothes washing and drying facilities are available upon request. Guests have their own private bedroom with en-suite shower room attached. Guests will also have shared use of the ground and first floor lounges, the kitchen and garden. We are led by guests on how they interact with us. Some guests we’ve been to the cinema with - others we’ve hosted without ever meeting them! Whatever makes you comfortable. We are always available by message to answer any queries and will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Located just outside Kent’s expansive area of natural beauty (The Kent Downs) there are several local footpaths to explore including to take in the local quarry activity and around the local wetland nature reserve on the bank of the River Medway. It is also just a short drive to the coast - Whitstable for example is a 40 minute drive. Four miles from the quaint market town of West Malling, there is also quick access to several places of historic interest including Aylesford, Cobham and Rochester. The house is well located for Snodland High Street which is just a few minutes walk. There is a coop, chemist, lovely coffee shop and quite a few fast food places (chips, chicken, Chinese, Dominos!). The number 71 bus runs through the estate to Maidstone and Snodland train station is about a mile walk. On street parking is available free but somewhat limited. If a space is unavailable on the street we will have you block us in on our drive or vice versa. We have a cat called Malfs, he is quite shy but also a bit cheeky once he gets to know you.
