This is a cosmopolitan, multi-cultural, fashionable and lively part of North London. Transport connections are excellent in this area. Kitchen is fully equipped & has all appliances you need. Apartment is quite new and has many great features. The lounge has a sunny south-facing private balcony, and widescreen 4K HD TV, Netflix & super-fast broadband wifi. The apartment is quite new and has many great features. The area is a cosmopolitan, multi-cultural, fashionable and lively part of North London. There is plenty to do in the immediate area and easy access to the rest of London. Guest have access to the whole apartment (private double bedroom, large private bathroom with bath and shower, lounge, kitchen and balcony). The bedroom furniture is all new (August 2021) including a new king-size bed, with a king-size 'nectar' memory phone mattress. I also invested in a 'TechnoGym' exercise bike, for guests who are working at home and would like to keep fit. The apartment itself is very close to Finsbury Park station (London mainline train station, Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line), Holloway Road (Piccadilly Line and London Overground) and Highbury and Islington (London mainline train station, Victoria Line, London Overground) and to London Buses. Also, there are superb sports facilities nearby, many cafes bars and restaurants and Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford which is just six stops from Highbury and Islington on the London Overground. There is free fast wifi and broadband. Guest have full private access to this one bedroom apartment (bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and terrace). The apartment is in the Highbury and Islington / Holloway Road area of North London, about 5 minutes walk from the Arsenal’s Emirates football stadium. It’s a very safe area of London with fantastic transport links to central London and the major tourist attractions. The local areas of Crouch Hill, Highbury, Islington and Finsbury Park have a number of great bars, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Camden Town is also 10 minutes away by car or bus if you want good quality live music, late bars and clubs. Transport connections in this area are excellent: Big Ben/London Eye/Westminster (20 mins on Victoria Line to Green Park, then change to Jubilee Line) British Museum (20 mins on Piccadilly Line to Russell Square) Museum Quarter Kensington (V&A etc). 30 minutes in the Piccadilly line. Usually myself, or a co-host, will be on hand to help with luggage. Internet : See details at the property. Lounge The TV has Netflix, iPlayer , Amazon Prime and other apps. I will log out of my account for you. To lock and unlock the balcony door, lift the handle and turn the key. Its best to lock this door when you go out. The wooden chest of drawers is emptied for your use. There is also some extra cabling (plugs, charges, phone and tv cables etc) in the bottom drawer in case you need. There is an air conditioner/cooler next to the book case (black tower), it’s portable and can be moved to the bedroom if needed. It is best used pulled out as it rotates. It’s very portable and can be put in the bedroom if needed. Bathroom I’ve left towels basic toiletries out for you. The are also extra towels if you need. Bedroom Fitted wardrobe and all the drawers are emptied for your use. The bedroom furniture is all new (August 2021) including a new king-size bed, with a king-size 'nectar' memory phone mattress. Please open and close all the roller blinds very gently. The heating is on a program, the control unit can be switched to ‘off’ if you want are too hot or use the up and down arrows to adjust heat accordingly. Hot water is on permanently. Kitchen I’ve left all the basics for you. Dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder/liquid are under the sink. There is a wall mounted extractor fan and one built into the hob hood, as the smoke alarms are quite sensitive. The hob is touch sensitive and will ‘lock’ if used incorrectly. Press and hold the ‘key’ button for 10-12 seconds to unlock, The oven instructions are printed and stuck to the wall under the extractor hood. Under the oven is a small drawer, there is a copy of the instructions for all the appliances in this drawer. Rubbish & recycling can be left by the black street bins, or inside the large green bins (left outside the front door). These bins are emptied daily. You don’t need to separate recycling as this is done by our Council. (Recycling is separated by our local council) Keys and security You have a key to the building. And the keys to the apartment front door. Please note: The apartment front door locks when it is closed, please don’t forget your keys. You can double lock the front door (inside and outside) if you want.
