Wide windows and large deck to enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and meadows. With all the comfort and a "nomadic" decor, the interior life is organized around the large central fireplace. Garden and orchard for siestas and grills On the ground floor: modern fitted kitchen open to the living room and scullery (traditional oven, plate 5 gas burners, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine), dining room with TV, fireplace and reading corner, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. The small village of Aunat, on the Sault plateau (Aude river valley) is a haven of peace where the silence is barely disturbed by the cowbells and the work of the farmers ... Totally preserved area (Natura 2000 classified), Aunat is the departure point for many hikes (fir trees road, Vauban road, Ourthiset mountain, raptors observatory) walking or by mountain bike .. Multiple possibilities of excursions: cathar castles (Usson, Puivert, Montaillou), parks animals (the Angles or Orlu), Ax natural thermal baths, cathar cities of Foix and Mirepoix, lakes of Donnezan, Capcir, Cerdanya, Andorra ... several ski resorts nearby (Camurac, Mijanès).
