You're welcome to enjoy our peaceful home away from home. Our cottage is very private and surrounded by a beautiful garden. With 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and 1 wet room, it sleeps six & is family friendly. There's a fab pub a few minutes walk, we're surrounded by nature trails and only a few miles to Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich. Our holiday cottage is private, comfortable and our home away from home - settle in and make it yours as well. The cottage offers you three bedrooms, one bathroom, one wet room, two sitting areas and a large kitchen diner. We've done our best to make it comfortable and a pleasure to relax in. Our home especially suits families with toys, high chair, cot, kids plates etc all available for you to use. What we love most about the cottage though is the garden - it's huge, private and very pretty - a real change from the city. Located in the heart of Blythburgh, it's a stones throw from walking trails, a fantastic local pub and the Blyth River. Easy riding and driving distance to Walberswick, Southwold and Dunwich, along with all of the natural and foodie spots of Suffolk's coast. You'll have access to the whole house. There's off road parking for two cars and you will be able to arrive when it suits you as the keys are kept in a keysafe at the house. The house is very private with a fence all the way around the property - so nice and safe for children to play in! We'll be available on email and phone but not around locally. We have a nearby handyman and cleaner available to help if needed during your stay. Blythburgh is a pretty, unspoilt village located 3 miles from Walberswick, just over 4 miles from Southwold and surrounded by walking and cycling paths. It is a small, quiet village with an historic public house serving fabulous food, beautiful views of the estuary and the famous 13th Century church known as the Cathedral of the Marshes. Literally just across from the house are walking paths - perfect for rambling or running. Blythburgh is just off the A12 so easily reached from London and the house has off street parking for two cars (a third can be parked nearby if needed). Darsham train station is c.4miles away with connections into Ipswich and Lowestoft. We'll send you specific instructions to find us before your stay. Please be aware that upstairs is genuinely a wet room - it has a sliding door and isn't large. As a family we find it completely fine but some groups of adults have found it an issue. We recommend our house best suits families. It has hosted many groups of six adults but in our opinion, it best suits a few kids and a few adults.
