The West Wing - near Bath
This country retreat is ideal for a couple and is set in the beautiful grounds of Manor Farm in North Somerset. The cottage sits over two floors with a modern open plan kitchen and living space and upstairs a room with a view and separate bathroom with shower. The west wing is part of a Grade II star listed Georgian Manor House, but is a self contained unit with its own front door. The cottage offers a place to relax away from the hustle of life or is a great base for a peaceful romantic getaway! The cottage has been newly refurbished and boasts a kitchen diner and open plan sitting and living space. Upstairs there's a double bedroom with a great view over the pond, with king size bed. We have recently put a sofa bed in the living room, it is not that comfortable for two adults but would be great for a teenagers or one adult. Your stay will include a breakfast basket on your first day and other goodies left for you to enjoy. Facilities : Fridge and oven Bath and shower Sheets and towels If you would like a cot or high chair this can be arranged, but we would advise against having toddlers stay as the stairs are open and steep. The west wing has its own parking and small front garden. I love meeting guests and only live next door, and am happy to show guests round the farm if requested. Manor Farm is in the country but surrounded by interesting places to visit, within a short drive of Bath, Wells, Frome, Cheddar and the Bath and West Showground. Perfect for country walks you can access footpaths from right outside the door. Manor Farm is a working farm, which grows a variety of arable crops and has a small flock of (very friendly) sheep. Local villages have useful shops and good selection of pubs and restaurants. The farm is a thriving community with lots to get involved in. We have a community garden that produces its own veg that you can purchase when it's in season!
