Jägerhütte Lungötz

The Jägerhütte is in the quiet valley Neubachtal. The chalet offers 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, a living room (with a sofa bed and a tile stove), an equipped kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and a sauna. We kindly ask you to bring your own bed linen and towels. Our chalet was built by my grandfather. It is a very cosy place that combines traditional elements (tiled stove...however, if you are too lazy to light the fire you can also heat electrically :-)) with modern comfort (kitchen, sauna, TV-set). In the upper floor there are two bedrooms with two beds in each of them. In the living room there is a sofa bed where a fifth and if needed a sixth person can sleep. In summer the chalet is a great starting point for walking or mountainbike tours. For those of you who like collecting berries and mushrooms there is a wood right next to our chalet. There is also a nice natural swimming lake not too far away...but be aware: even in summer the water is quite chilly. In winter there is a lot of snow in Lungötz. The ski-resort Dachtein West which offers more than 140 km of pists is less than five kilometers away. The ski resort "snow spce Flachau" is 24 kilometers away. If you like cross-country skiing you will find a 10 kilometer-cross-country trail right at the back of our chalet (it literally leads through our garden). IMPORTANT: Please bring your own bed linen and towels The whole house is your's. Right next to the house you will find a shed with plenty of wood to light a fire in the tiled stove. I live 50 kilometers away but you can easily reach me or my son Franz via e-mail or telephone. There are a few houses nearby. During the summer months some local cows might stroll through the garden because the local farmers have grazing rights in the whole valley. The easiest way to go to our chalet is by car.
