Bluebell Cottage is located in the quaint village of Kniveton in the Derbyshire Dales, just a few miles from Ashbourne and close to all the attractions of the Peak District. Chatsworth House and Alton Towers are accessible and it is just a mile from Carsington Water. Dog-friendly with good walks from the cottage, including a short walk to the village pub. Outside is a patio complete with garden furniture and BBQ. Free parking & Wifi. Shared use of the large games room & gardens at Standlow. The Derbyshire stone cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower over bath), a lounge, and a kitchen/dining area. Fully equipped for self-catering with dishwasher and laundry room. Wifi is available and there is 3G & 4G signal, despite being surrounded by picturesque countryside. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. For bookings of 5 or 6 guests, there is also a sofa-bed in the lounge. Bluebell Cottage is one of 6 cottages at Standlow. All have the use of the 2 acre gardens, large games room, children's play area and grassed paddock for ball games . Please message me for any help. There are beautiful views over the countryside from the cottage. It is within an hour from East Midlands airport and 10 miles from Derby. Great for Carsington Water, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Alton Towers and Matlock - all of which make for fantastic day trips. Free parking outside the cottage and in a large car park on site. The nearerst main train station is Derby or Stoke. Smaller, closer stations are at Belper, Wirksworth or Matlock. Other guests will be staying at Standlow in other cottages. This is a dog-friendly venue & within walking distance of a good village pub. There is an extra charge of £30 per dog, which must be requested before your stay. There is a large games room for the use of everyone staying there with two full size snooker tables, air hockey and table tennis.
