Number 3, is a large and very comfortable ground floor flat in a quiet road on the private Yarmer Estate in Thurlestone. A fantastic location to enjoy the beaches, south west coastal path and all the other great locations in the South Hams. The flat is one of four, set in communal gardens, with gorgeous views of the sea. There is private parking behind the flats. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps five. This spacious and comfortable ground floor apartment is situated on the outskirts of Thurlestone on the Yarmer Estate with wonderful views of the sea and coastline. The apartment has a spacious lounge, newly refurbished kitchen, dining area, 2 bathrooms as well as three comfortable bedrooms. The flat is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher in the newly reburbished kitchen. Much of the original 1970's character is deliberately maintained however. The turquoise bathroom suite is bang on trend! Number 3 is a great space to kick back and enjoy all that Thurlestone has to offer. It's comfortable and has plenty of space to spread out and relax, However, if you are looking for modern and brand new, this is not the place for you. Please be reassured that if you have any problems, we are fairly local and just a phone call away. The pretty village of Thurlestone has long been a popular holiday destination. It is close to many of the local family and surfing beaches as well as easy access on to the South West Coastal Path which is a must for walkers who enjoy breathtaking sea views. The village has a well stocked local shop and a friendly pub serving great food. The excellent Thurlestone Golf Course has glorious sea views and is open to non members (handicap required). After an energetic round of golf there are plenty of other things to do including visits to the local sailing havens of Salcombe and Dartmouth. Dartmoor National Park is a must for walkers who enjoy rugged terrains and a visit to Plymouth's historic Barbican should be included in a 'must do' day out. Kingsbridge and Salcombe are approximately 10 mins drive away. Burgh Island with its famous art deco hotel is a 20 minute drive and the highlight must surely be the extraordinary ride on a sea tractor at high tide. Some of our favourite outings have included Greenways (Agatha Christie’s house) and Coleton Fishacre at Dartmouth. Saltram House, near Plymouth and Buckfast Abbey are nearby too.
