Chateau Duffy

Chateau Duffy is a restored 400 year old barn in the Limousin region of France, it is a house that was rebuilt by friends and lovingly nick-named Chateau Duffy! Over 9 years and 12 one week trips we took the place from a dirt floor tumble-down property into a place that makes for the perfect rural retreat. The place has lots of character, a wood burning fire-place and a lovely garden area. Its a good place to curl up with a book, or to enjoy meals with family and friends. Near the property are lots of walking footpaths, rivers and lakes. When you arrive there is a parking lot across from the gate next to the church. That is the easiest place to park when you arrive. St. Leonard de Noblat and Lake St. Helena are both just short drives away (15 minutes) and there are several larger towns not too far away either. Parking is available on the property and in the carpark next to the Church opposite the driveway.
