ACCOMODATION Cozy large 2-bedroom house, (bedroom 1 – double bed and bedroom 2 - two queen size beds) both located on the upper floor and accessed by a staircase, each room has a TV. Living room with TV and 2 sofas of which one a sofa bed that can accommodate extra sleeping space for 1 or 2 persons. Separate dining room with large table to accommodate up to 8 people. Large kitchen and 2 full bathrooms one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. There is a quiet working corner with a desk in the case you need to catch up with work. The house can accommodate up to 2 couples plus max 3 children to be accommodated either in the sofa bed and/or queen size bed. The apartment has an own central heating system and has all the main services, kitchenware, washing machine, hairdryer, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, fridge and amenities. The house is in Acquapendente made of stone and tuff dating back to 15th century, is part of the famous Princess Donna Olimpia Maidalchini known as the female Pope building. The vaults witness the stately mansion, the interiors have been completely renovated with attention to details and furnishings, the house still preserves the wooden beams that divide the high vaults in obtaining a floor that now has the 2 bedrooms. Thanks to the thick stone walls the rooms enjoy a natural coolness. The house is fully available to guests who will be able to appreciate the TV in every room and a work station area. Perfect starting point being the garden gate to Bolsena lake, thermal baths of San Casciano or Sorano or San Filippo or Saturnia, or visit Monte Amiata, Pitigliano, Orvieto and Siena. Or just immerse yourself in the hidden charm of Italy’s most beautiful villages. To reach some important destinations a public Acotral bus is available which reaches Rome, Siena, Orvieto, etc. If you come with your own car, free parking is available 150m away or just closed there is a pubblic pay parking.
