Our light and airy holiday home is located in a picturesque valley and affords the perfect opportunity to kick back and relax. It is fully centrally heated, so cosy on cooler evenings. Ideal for couples, friends or families looking to spend quality time together enjoying the beauty of Cornwall , or spotting the abundant local wildlife. Sandy Toes is within easy travelling distance of many of Cornwall’s lovely beaches and visitor attractions. Sandy Toes has a comfortable coastal charm. The lounge-diner leads to a well equipped kitchen area. The pretty master bedroom has a king sized bed, along with ample wardrobe space, a dressing table and mirror and over-bed cupboards. It has an en-suite toilet and hand basin. The twin bedroom has a wardrobe, and one of the beds can be stowed away (on request) prior to your visit if you have one child or would like room for a cot. There is a lovely, sunny decked area to the front of Sandy Toes, with a wooden patio table and chairs. Located in a country park, Sandy Toes is in a picturesque position and is surrounded by well tended grass. Bedding and towels are provided. Sandy Toes has one allocated parking space to the front and further parking is available by Reception as you drive in. If I am unable to help by phone/email, I will arrange for someone local to help. Local attractions include • St Ives - 11 miles away but I suggest the beautiful 'park and ride' train journey along the coast from St Erth station which is a 10 minute drive away • Newquay - a 40 minute drive • The Star Inn, St Erth – a cosy 17th century traditional country inn serving food, and cask ales • Flambards/Crealy Theme Parks • Coast 2 Coast Karting - 5 miles away • Lands' End • St Michael's Mount - less than 10 minute drive, which has a great ferryboat service for when the tide is too deep to walk across the causeway to the island • Penzance - from where you can go fishing/sightseeing or you can hop on a helicopter and fly to the stunning Isles of Scilly • Mousehole - picturesque fishing village and harbour • Sennen Cove - crystal clear blue sea, white sand (go early, the car park gets busy) • Great places to eat - too numerous to mention and to suit all budgets • Plenty of historic houses and art galleries • Botallack, Pendeen and St Just - Poldark mines etc • Coasteering/kyaking/surfing/sailing - ElementalUK @ Swanpool Beach, Falmouth and Tolcarne Beach, Newquay Guests will ideally need a car to get around as Sandy Toes is situated in a quiet, rural area. It has an allocated parking space. There are some lovely cycle rides to be had locally. Nearby St Erth has a train station and a park and ride to St Ives. The route is along the coast and the scenery is stunning. Penzance is a main-line station. Open top busses run along the dramatic coast road, with amazing views.
