Boothswood Barn in Holbrook

We have recently finished converting our barn into a light and clean holiday home, ideal for families or a group of friends. Set in the village of Holbrook which has great access to both the city centres of Derby and Nottingham or the beautiful countryside within the Peak District national park. Holbrook also offers a local shop, post office and two real ale pubs, all within a two minute walk. A converted barn on a non-working farm, next door to our family home. We are on the out skirts of an amazing village with excellent amenities, shop, 3x pubs, cafe, post office.... Holbrook is also a great base for walking, cycling and trips to the Peak District The Barn is self contained, no shared spaces inside. The Barn is sited on a largish yard that is shared with my home, the yard is used for parking and vehicular access to our fields below so please keep an eye on children if they are outside Living next door to the property I am happy to help if the guest needs advice or assistance. If I'm not at home my phone is usually on so please feel free to call. We have the village shop 100m down the road and two real ale pubs not much further away. In addition we have the community owned Spotted Cow pub and Spotted Calf Cafe 10 minutes walk away, all of which give Holbrook a great village feel. Holbrook is a sited on a hill so the views can be spectacular. There are also some great walks that go through our village taking you to the nearby Little Eaton, Milford and Duffield. There are two parking spaces available on our drive. We are near bus stops that can take you to Belper, Derby or Heanor, time table information is within the property. Chads cars is a great taxi firm if needed (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Nearby Train stations can be found in Derby, Belper or Duffield. The ground floor bedroom listed as a twin room has a zip link bed so can easily become a superkingsize bed if requested in advance. There is also a sofa bed in the living room.
