The apartment is located right beside Piazza Marconi where you can park for free. The area features some of the most popular bathing establishments (Marina S. Giuseppe, Stella Marina, Margunaira) and finest restaurants in town (La Caravella, La Vecchia Napoli, Il Vesuvio), as well as ice cream shops, live music bars and grocery shops. The city center with its shops, Flower Market and public gardens is only a 5-minute walk away, just the time to cross the Squarciafichi pedestrian walkway which also offers a stunning view on the marvelous fauna that belongs to the Roja river. (note: the pedestrian walkway across the river is currently closed as hit by recent flooding). Through the pedestrian climbs it is also possible to reach the upper town, walking along its alleyways and paths, breathing its history and visiting the old cathedral. The new forthcoming port is also reachable by foot and, for sand lovers and more adventurous walks, you won't want to miss the famous Calandre beach!
