The Bothy and Hot Tub !

The Bothy is a gorgeous self contained annexe with Jacuzzi Hot Tub within the gardens of our half timbered Grade 11 listed Cottage which was built in 1610. The Bothy has been converted in 2017 and finished to a high standard with a contemporary feel. We are situated in the centre of the village of Worthen, which has a very well stocked Village Shop and PostOffice & Off License. The Bothy provides privacy and is completely self contained. The kitchen is well equiped with Microwave Oven, Kettle, Toaster, Four Burner Ceramic Hob, Extractor Fan, Integrated Fridge. You will find all you need to get started in the kitchen - Tea Towels, Cloths, Washing up liquid, Bin Liners, Tea, Coffee, Sugar & Fresh Milk in the fridge. There is crockery , cutlery , utensils and cooking equipment. NEW :Airwave Low Fat Air Fryer ......perfect for Pizzas, cooked breakfasts, chips and much more quickly so you can get on and enjoy your break in The Bothy! Previous guests may leave non perishables in the cupboard, which you can , of course consume ! Please do not ask for less than a three night stay as it is not possible to accommodate this request. Only guests with previous Airbnb reviews may book. There is Jacuzzi Hot Tub under the Veranda for your exclusive use during your stay, it is the most fabulous experience ! This will definitely make your stay luxurious and memorable ! It can be enjoyed all year around as it is under cover, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use. We do ask that guests vacate the Jacuzzi by 10pm in respect of our neighbours. We also ask that guests do NOT adjust the settings on the Jacuzzi . The Shower Room is a Wet Room with Electric Shower. The Television is a Smart TV, you may wish to sign into Netflix with your own Login. NEW FOR 2022: all Bothy guests have access to all facilities at nearby Rowton Castle Country Club. This includes Swimming Pools,Spa,Gym,Fitness classes,Squash,Badminton and Tennis courts. Bar and Restaurant. Just ask Sandie or Derek for a guest pass during your stay. Our guests will have exclusive use of The Bothy. Please note from the photographs, the proximity of our house to The Bothy. Every effort has been made to make this a private space, we do share our garden with guests. We live in the Cottage and are happy to help should you have any trouble or need anything. However you can be as private as you wish, we always respect your privacy. We will maintain the Jacuzzi daily but will do this when it will be the least intrusive time. ( ie when you are out ) We are happy to recommend places to visit, local walks, restaurant or activities during your stay. The village also has a Medieval Church, Village Hall, Doctors Surgery, School and a Bus Service to Shrewsbury and Montgomery. Worthen is on the edge of the Shropshire Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ). From your doorstep walking, cycling, horse trekking, gliding,fishing, sailing, water skiing and shooting can be easily pursued. Perhaps hire our mountain bikes or simply quietly enjoy this area of ' hidden secrets '. AE Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was the quietest place under the sun and today the County remains something of a Rural Idyll , recognised as one of the least crowded and peaceful regions in England . We are in the countryside and mobile signal is often weak, the Smart TV is connected to the Internet, but wifi signal is weak. Most of our guests find this part of the charm of getting away and 'switching off' !! We will expect all guests to sign a Jacuzzi Safety Disclaimer before they can use the Jacuzzi during their stay. This is a requirement of our insurance policy. The cleaning fee covers the cleaning of The Bothy, including a deep clean of the Jacuzzi to ensure all guests can enjoy the experience safely. We do ask guests to to clean up spillages & empty the bins on leaving to help the cleaner! There are bins and recycling bins on the driveway. We do ask guests to restrict outside noise after 10 pm to respect the peace and tranquility of the area. DUE TO THE ENHANCED CLEANING DUE TO COVID-19, OUR CHECK OUT TIME IS NOW 10AM AND CHECK IN 3PM
