‘Brookside’ with its own stream in the garden!

Brookside is in the lovely village of Tuckenhay nestled in the South Hams. A short walk from the delightful Malsters Arms, Brookside has 3 bedrooms sleeping 5 people, with parking, gardens, and even it's own stream passing through the grounds! Rare in Devon, we even have fibre broadband in this village location.The bungalow is located all on one level, so it's a great spot to holiday for those of you who may benefit from less stairs in life! We even welcome up to a maximum of 3pets. Brookside is all on one level. There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 5 people. 1 room has a kingsize bed. The second room has a double and the third is a single bed. We also have a cot and highchair at the house if required. We are blessed with a stream (which is actually the River wash!) passing right through the grounds of the property, where we often see amazing birdlife. The bungalow is designed to have made the most of this feature obviously, with living spaces overlooking the stream. There is a large kitchen with a breakfast table, but there's also a separate dining room, and separate lounge space. The garden and outside space is really very lovely, and you have your own parking. The entire property is yours for the duration of your stay. For those of you who may need a little support with mobility at times, we have a grab rail installed at the front door, two at the back door, four on the bridge and two on the narrowest corner by the stream. The property is managed by a local cleaner and management company support team Like most villages nestled along the River Dart, Tuckenhay is a lovely spot. It's a quiet village, blessed with the amazing waterside pub/ restaurant, 'The Malsters Arms'. Further along the creek, you will also find 'The Waterman's Arms', where you can enjoy a pint whilst the children paddle in the river below the outside dining benches! Totnes is nearby, but we'd strongly suggest you have your own vehicle. There are lots of great walks around the cottage though. We welcome up to 2 dogs to stay. We ask that dogs do not venture on to furniture and bed linen, and that any poo is collected from the garden. We will request a further payment of £25.00 for up to 2 dogs.
