You'll love this simple, genuine Portuguese country home. The "Pine Cottage" is a beautiful, peaceful cottage located just 4km's from the village of Monção, in the heart of Minho. Plenty of charm and quiet. Turn off your mobile and enjoy the genuine of life ... Just 131km's from Porto Airport and 36km's from Vigo Airport (Spain). Difficult to access by public transport... Situated on 2500 square meter of fruit trees and beautiful gardens, the cottage shares property with the owners' holiday home. The native flora in the surrounding forests is home to an abundance of wildlife - birds, rabbits, eagles, owls, deer, to name a few. The Alvarinho Vineyard in the neighboring small, rural village produces one of the most notable Portuguese white wines. This is a picturesque home, with two bedrooms and two double beds, a kitchen / living room with a traditional fireplace, and a single bathroom. Park inside the property. (Note that the bathroom is accessible through one of the rooms, so privacy in that room is not always feasible). Ideal for families of four or good friends. An additional single bed may be placed inside the main bedroom. Ideal for retreating from the stress of the city.
