This is a beautifully decorated genuine Mongolian yurt which enjoys stunning views to the sea and mountains. Bathroom facilities are in a log cabin adjacent to the yurt. Breakfast is provided , with bread, croissants, butter, jam and milk in your fridge. There is tea/coffee, a kettle and toaster There is also a chilled bottle of wine, and home made biscuits for you to enjoy .The Yurt enjoys 4G reception. Logs, and kindling are provided. Additional supplies are available for a small charge The Yurt is set in a private spot on our family farm. It is comfortably furnished and there is a cosy log burning stove for chillier evenings. Outside there is a space to sit and enjoy the view. Rhoscolyn is a beautiful rural coastal area on the southern tip of Holy Island just off Anglesey. If you are looking for a relaxing break, Rhoscolyn offers fantastic coastal walks, beautiful beaches and a local pub renowned for its fine dining. it is also the perfect base for exploring North west Wales, with its historic castles and adrenalin filled activities, or as a stop off on a trip to Ireland. Guests will be able to park their vehicle in our private off road yard, used by family members. it may be possible to walk on fields when stock is not grazing. The area surrounding the yurt is exclusive to guests. I am happy to answer queries on the local area and things to do. I have made up a small printed booklet of local amenities and some yurt information to help you make the most of your stay. There are also maps and guide books for you to read and plan your stay. Rhoscolyn is a small coastal rural area with farmland and narrow winding lanes. There are fantastic walks on the Anglesey coastal path where you can see an amazing range of birds, butterflies and plants. The beach at Rhoscolyn is sandy and offers safe swimming and is a popular starting point for those wishing to explore the coast by canoe or kayak. Ideally you need a car or bicycle to visit Rhoscolyn, but there is a regular reliable bus service and the nearest main line railway station is at Holyhead, 4 miles away, many trains also stop at the station in Valley, approx. 2 miles away. Car ferries to Ireland also leave from the port at Holyhead We have horses and their stables which are used primarily in the winter are in relatively close proximity to the Yurt. Whilst I would not expect this to impact on the guests stay, it may be a relevant feature if anyone was to suffer an allergy.
