Beautiful 5 bed cottage with very large garden in the heart of Norfolk with the River Ant at the end of the drive and surrounded by open countryside. Great for families, friends and celebrations the house lends itself to everyone! The village pub is a short walk with an additional pub also in walking distance, both serve great food! Relax with a barbecue on the sunny patio whilst the children play in the garden. Or venture out to the many attractions a short drive away. There are five large and one small double bedrooms. One of the large King Size bedrooms is on the ground floor and there is also a bathroom downstairs - ideal for guests with limited mobility. Also downstairs is a kitchen/breakfast room, WC and large living/dining room with a gorgeous fireplace and woodburni9ng stove. Upstairs the master bedroom (King) is en-suite, there is a third King Size room a twin room and a small double. The family bathroom is also situated upstairs. Outside there is around half an acre of private gardens, a large patio area and plenty of parking. Dilham is a small Norfolk village right on the River Ant. The village staithe is perfect for fishing and is at the bottom of the 300ft driveway. Every year the village hosts the Worsted show and various other events including quiz nights, The Pantalons theatre shows and many others. There is a pub, The Cross Keys, about 10 minutes walk away which serves real ales and hearty food (the wood fired pizzas are amazing). They offer our guests a 10% discount. Whilst the village is small and peaceful there is plenty to do locally with Stalham, Wroxham and North Walsham all five miles away, the Broads on the doorstep and miles and miles of unspoilt beaches about 6 miles away. If visiting in the winter a visit to the seals on Waxham beach is an amazing experience as they come in to breed. Canoes, Kayaks and Dayboats can be rented nearby at Wayford Bridge (approx 3 miles)
