The Valley of Green Gold offers you peace and quiet, fresh air and numerous opportunities for recreational and other activities. The Lower Savinja Valley / the Valley of Green Gold and WEISS bed & brekfast turist farm invite you to visit and enjoy waking up in the countryside, in the pleasant ambiance of our rooms, and indulge in the hearty breakfasts of homemade delicacies. What you can find here is peace and quiet, fresh air and numerous opportunities for recreational and other activities. Our tourist farm house has 2 double bedrooms and 1 room with 4 beds furnished in a pleasant rustic style, 2 bathrooms with shower, WC and bidet and 1 separate WC. Coffee, tea and homemade pastry are available in the lobby at all times. Breakfast is served in our dining room or on the terrace. All our guests are free to use the Finnish or infrared sauna in the basement as well as the fireplace equipped socialising/gathering room. We offer - accommodation in the pleasant ambiance of our rooms - breakfast of homemade delicacies - hospitality - nature, peace and quiet - numerous possibilities for sports activities a) CYCLING: The Savinja Valley offers 17 marked cycle routes, which run across the flat and hilly areas of our valley, and are categorised by difficulty. The routes are interconnected and suitable for sightseeing. The cycle route no. 17 runs past our farm. Bike rental available. b) NORDIC WALKING can be done on flat terrain, following the well-maintained forest tracks, or in the hilly areas in our immediate surroundings. (Nordic walking is walking with specially designed poles, which allow us to walk as naturally as possible. Arm movement is similar as in regular walking, while the steps are somewhat longer.) By previous arrangement, we also organise Nordic walking courses or guided tours in the surroundings. c) HIKING: The area boasts numerous hiking trails on the nearby hills, which offer wonderful views of our valley. d) SKIING: In winter, you can enjoy skiing in ski resorts such as Golte and Rogla. e) HERB AND MUSHROOM PICKING. f) HELP WITH FARM CHORES if so desired. g) FREE CLIMBING at the nearby climbing area in Vransko. h) SIGHTSEEING: independent or guided tours (by previous arrangement). i) HORSEBACK RIDING for children. - guided or independent sightseeing tours - relaxation in the Finnish or infrared sauna - many domestic animals for children - fireplace equipped room for socializing/gathering for up to 8 persons - holiday camp in nature for children More at: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Come and make sure! You will return home rested and reinvigorated! Our guests can access to our kitchen and garden with a pool. We will be available to our guests to offer help throughout their stay. The GREEN GOLD FOUNTAIN! A new fascinating tourist attraction in Žalec, just 15 minutes drive from our place. In the village Tabor is a bee house, where you may get the best honey and other bee products, and a farms with a typical cheese, salami and other home-made products. By car to our house (parking is just in front of the door). If you will come by bus, you may contact us for the transfer from the station to our farm. Bus station Tabor is 4 km away from the house. Turist tax 1,50€/per night/per person is not included in the price.
