Warm, clean double room in victorian house on very quiet, friendly cul de sac. Fantastic bathroom shared with owner. I have a lovely big garden great to sit in the evenings in nice weather. Guests can smoke out here if they want. Buses to town from the end of the avenue or 20 minutes walk. Lots of places to eat locally and pubs/micro pub with real ale. Tram 5 minutes walk goes direct to Queens hospital, train and coach station or taxi about 15 minutes. The house is an old victorian three storey townhouse on a small cul de sac off Sherwood Rise 20 minutes walk to the centre of the city. Its a narrow road with no turning space. We have a very small parking space which many people would find hard to get into. There is plenty of free parking on the road opposite which many residents use or we can park there if you really need to park closer. Best not to drive down here if you are not good at reversing. Makes it quirky but quiet. Guests get the double room on the top floor (3 storey house). The bathroom is shared and is on the middle floor, towels included. There is a downstairs shower and toilet. The large kitchen diner is on the ground floor with free access to hot drinks. Guests are welcome to cook, eat and hang out here. The patio and well established garden is accessed by the back door, (you are welcome to sit there or smoke if you want), the lounge is a private area for the host. WIFI is available. Im often around to help with anything though I do work some days and weekends.. I am happy to leave you alone or offer help or chat The house is in a conservation area. The houses are mainly old red brick built and the gardens are long and beautiful. We are friends with most people on our street. Although its really close to the city, including universities, its very quiet here The buses are very frequent into the city centre and run at the end of the road. Single trip is £2.00 or £3.70 for all day. The tram goes from the forest recreation ground about 5 minutes walk away. It only takes 20 minutes to walk into town and taxis are usually about £3-5 from the station or get the tram. Lots of lovely bike rides around including canal, river and off road routes. I am particularly happy to welcome cyclists and LGBTQ people but happy to host anyone who is respectful and lovely
